Sea Urchins Family Day Care

Toddlers are left unattended in the driveway, and frequently wander into the street. I'm building a house directly across the street, and have witnessed several close calls between children and vehicles. On the odd occasion when the childcare provider comes out, he gets angry with the children for not being more mindful of cars. Honestly, I don't know how this negligent facility stays in business.

Dale, Ying and Ho are amazing, warm-hearted caregivers. Our children are part of their family. The kids are well-fed with healthy homemade food, and get a tonne of activity outside - including tending to their own vegetable garden.

Our second daughter is now in Dale's care. The fact that we are trusting him again says a lot. I understand the comments made by Tony, our first daughter was there while the house was being built. The older children do play in Dale's driveway on occasion but his home is the second last from the US border and is on a dead end street. There is scarcely any traffic on 66A that close to the border and what there is crawls along at a snail's pace. More importantly he has infinite patience, he takes the children in his little boat on wheels to the beach, to the playground, to a little garden he has created. When we pick the children up, they are dirty, tired and happy. Dale , Lisa and Ho have become our extended family.

Dale is wonderful! A great daycare! Love it!
