Nova Heating, Air conditioning & Sheet Metal Ltd

My wife suggested we use Nova Heating to upgrade our current house heating system. When Travis came to assess our unique needs he recommended a high efficiency furnace since ours was decades old and also suggested an AC system instead of a heat pump. We chose to go ahead with his recommendations and the work that he and his of crew Eric and Riley had performed was first rate and professional. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend Nova Heating to anyone that wants quality professional work done.

We have used Nova for many years now. A few years ago, Travis and his crew installed a high efficiency furnace. Recently he added a cooling coil and an outdoor condensing unit. Kim runs the office efficiently. I would recommend this company for their prices, workmanship, equipment quality, politeness and efficiency.

We required installation of the Mitsubishi 2 zones ductless AC. We love their quality work, equipment, very professional and friendly staffs, very efficient, welcomes clients comments prior to & during post installation , explains thoroughly the operation and maintenance of the unit. Job satisfactorily completed and commissioned. Everyone in the house is happy and comfy. Friends have visited us and seen quality work of Travis & staffs. Friends are now looking forward to having the same installation. Nova heating & sheet meta is highly recommended.

Travis, his crew and office staff are all very professional and courteous. Travis is honest and friendly. He gave us a quote for replacement of our heating and air conditioning units and the final invoice was exactly the same with no hidden charges. They were on time and on budget. We had some questions about the placement of the outdoor A/C unit and we were going to leave a message for Travis to discuss it but he took our phone call even though it was on the weekend. We are very pleased with the job well done right before the heat wave. Highly recommend them.

We were unsure of what brand and model of mini split A/C we wanted, and where we would install the indoor and outdoor units; Travis was always happy to stop by, provide a quick quote, or text to answer our many questions. We went with a Daikin that has so far been amazing. The install looks great and the lineset covers blend in as much as we could have hoped for. With the jobs Nova has done for us, we know we don’t have to worry about any workmanship issues.

He made multiple trips back to ensure everything was done right and to make sure we were happy. His attention to detail was very impressive and left us with a highly professional looking installation. Travis always has time to answer his phone and help his customers. Highly recommend Travis and his team at Nova. We’ve been wanting air conditioning for years and have had several quotes in the past but never felt comfortable with how much drywall damage we could expect and the location of the outdoor unit. Our friends told us to give Travis a call at Nova and we are sure glad we did. Timely site visit and quote, followed by an ahead of schedule install. What more could you want?! His team of guys were confident, incredibly polite and very tidy! We are so excited to finally be cool in our home in the summer months! Should have called Nova years ago!

We've worked with Nova Heating for many years on numerous custom homes. Travis, the owner, is super helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure our clients are always happy. His office and site staff are great.

First off, this is a good business and for the most part I recommend them, however; it feels like the owner has been ignoring us and our issue (which they caused) for several months now.it started when one of their technicians installed a backup battery pack for our fireplace. This unfortunately short circuited and fried our whole fireplace and we had to go a whole winter with out it. Unfortunate but not the issue here. In March it it was finally determined our fireplace was dead and needed to be replaced but they wanted to see if it was going to be under warranty. In July we finally found out it was not under warranty and in though several months it took to find out I had to follow up to check on the progress. The answer was always the same, the office (which I must say is great, understanding and professional) would forward an email to Travis to call me. During this entire time I got zero calls from him.Now what upsets me and the reason I am giving this negative review is that I have called and left several voice message for Travis to call me and still no response from him.We feel it was their tech who broke our fireplace (accidental it may have been) so we do not feel we should pay to have it replaced. We are open for some kind of negotiation regarding this but we can't do that unless he calls and talks to me.So perhaps providing a negative review will get his attention.Once we determine a solution to our issue I would be more than happy to update my review in a more favorable response because honestly Travis and his company have been great up until this incident.

Possibly one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. Somewhat similar to Jordan's review below, they came to install new duct work and vents. Reasonable quote and friendly, but they left without finishing the job. Worse yet, they drilled a hole in my kitchen drain! For months I had water leaking into my crawl space. $400 to fix their mistake. When I raised the issue, I got no response, impossible to get a hold of anyone other than the admin / receptionist. I only ever received an invoice. When I informed them why I wouldn't be paying the invoice, I got nothing. Even a simple apology for what I assumed was an honest mistake would have gone a long way, but no. Given the action and inaction from this company, I felt obliged to write a review and now have to question if they knew about the drain issue and simply ignored it and avoided me.
