Bowen's Furniture Enhancement

I was somewhat skeptical contacting Bowen's Furniture Enhancement because there was such a negative review about the company. But needing a chair done, and wanting to support local, I figured I'd email him a photo and go from there as instructed from their website. Well, I received a quote the following morning ($125 to redo the chair not including fabric) and figured I'd go for it. I dropped the chair off on a Friday, and at that time I met Patrick, who owns the company. He offered to give me some swatches to take home or said that if I pick one from the bins he'd do it for 10$ a yard-an absolute steal!One week later, Patrick called me to inform me the chair was done and even offered to drop it off at my house, which he did, free of charge. I hadn't even paid him yet! He said mail, drop off or leave the money and he'd pick it up but not to worry about it. That is customer service and why I love small business. For 140$ to redo a chair is a great price, and they did an amazing job. Will I go back? Without a doubt. Please use these guys for all your enhancement, they do great work.

I have an amazing house in York Maine that was damaged last year due to a broken water pipe. Many rooms were damaged included the formal dining room where a precious 1902 table and a very large built in china cabinet, which is scheduled to be restored soon. Patrick and his crew are extremely talented and surpassed all expectations and hopes. I can'tr wait to see how the other piece comes out as it was damaged much more from the water. Thank you. In January the pipes in my house burst due to the sub zero temperatures. Everything was covered in steamy water. I had many one of a kind" pieces of furniture. To me it was hopeless. Regardless of the monies that insurance would have to pay there was no way of replacing the "one of a kind pieces" that I owned. I was inconsolable. I called our insurance company and they had someone contact me. Patrick Bowen showed up and reassured me that he could take care of everything..I was more than skeptical. The day came when he started to bring the pieces back. I was so overwhelmed and in disbelief. Patrick Bowen orchestrated a "MIRACLE". He brought my pieces back to new..perfect..I am overwhelmed to have found a "Patrick". This man is a miracle worker and a genius. We recently moved to Dover and had a beautiful chest of drawers damaged. Patrick came to the house within a few days, evaluated the piece and gave me options on fixing it. He returned it in good time, fixed perfectly. I will definitely call him again.

We were new to area and needed to have a few pieces of furniture reupholstered. Looked online and found Bowen’s. We called Patrick with our requests and he came right over to see what we had. He was so personable and gave us great advice and reasonable costs. One antique couch was delivered to our home and WOW we loved it. Beautiful workmanship. We added more furniture and all have impressed us. He even fixed an antique cane chair flawlessly - and three others tried with no success. Patrick and his staff are gifted and we recommend them without reservation. We will always bring Patrick our cherished furniture to be transformed into works of art. He and his staff are that good!

Just received delivery on my 51-year-old Ethan Allen bedroom suite. Bowen's matched the original stain perfectly, and I could not be happier with the results! I had an old. worn out zero gravity reclining chair. On Home Advisor I located and contacted Bowens Furniture. Patrick arrived at my residence and picked it up. I now have a newly reupholstered chair that is equivalent to a brand new chair. Patrick was also very professional, friendly and sincere. Pat did an absolutely amazing job at restoring our furniture! We had several pieces that were damaged in a home fire with heavy smoke damage he restored them to better than new quality and look fantastic. We purchase a Hancock & Moore leather sofa, chair and ottoman about 25 years ago. The sofa and ottoman are in very good condition, but the leather on the chair needed to be replaced or repaired. We priced a replacement Hancock & Moore chair and talked with local upholsters about having the chair recovered in leather. The cost of a new chair pricy and none of the local upholsters were interested in taking on the job. We found Bowen's Furniture Enhancement through an internet search and after exchanging a couple of emails traveled to Dover to look at Patrick’s leather samples. One of the samples was very close to the color we needed and Patrick agreed to repair the damaged sections of the chair, while retaining as much of the original leather as possible. The work performed was exceptional, the new leather is an excellent match the couch and ottoman.
