Wow, wow, wow. Shannon and Pawsonal Training far exceeded my expectations. I sent my little terrier mutt to Shannon about a month ago, and I can’t even believe how well behaved he is now. He was reactive on a leash, and walks were a chore. He also wouldn’t come when called and was just overly excited all the time. He has such better control of his emotions now. I took him on a 20 minute walk yesterday, and he didn’t pull once. That type of thing never would have happened before!Shannon is so professional, answered all of my questions promptly, and sent so many pictures and videos. One of my biggest concerns about sending my dog to training was that he’d learn it all and then forget it. Or that I’d have questions when he got home and the trainer would make it feel like a chore to answer them. Neither of those things is true with Shannon. I think the best thing about her, specifically, is the time and care she puts into training the humans too :) She sends training videos every day. If you watch those, you’ll feel totally up to speed when your dog comes home. Plus, she’s sooo kind and continues to answer my questions, even weeks after my dog came home.I would recommend Pawsonal Training to anyone. I think my dog was probably a slightly more challenging case, and he is a delight now. Thank you, Shannon!!

Choosing Shannon at Pawsonal Training was one of the best choices we’ve made in raising our 1 year old goldendoodle. From the beginning, and all the way through training and handoff, communication from Shannon was outstanding. We received a number of photos and videos daily, which were great to see our dog while she was away for two weeks, and to help train us along the way. We also used the time during board and train to go on a non-dog friendly vacation. If you consider the cost of boarding in some areas, this is a great deal! Our dog is much calmer when folks come to our home and when we go out in public with her. Our walks are now so relaxed and enjoyable, as I’m not getting my arm torn out of its socket with her pulling. All around great experience, and a very fast way to get the behavior we wanted out of our dog vs. going 1 hour per week to a training class.

Shannon did an amazing job with Jasper, I still can’t believe on how well behaved he is after only 2 weeks of training. Shannon is very thorough when explaining the training and how to properly handle and give commands. We were afraid that he would lose some of his personality after the training but that’s not the case at all, he is still his goofy self but now knows he has some limitations. Shannon trained my dog JJ (and me!) back in 2018/2019. She is nothing but the absolute best. JJ can be a bit of drama but she was so patient with him and really helped him to understand. I get compliments daily with how well behaved he is in public.Her constant support through every twist and turn in his life has been amazing. Helping me though every challenge we may have.Shannon will train all of my dogs for the rest of my life.

Our almost 2 year old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Brax spent 2 weeks with Shannon. Timed it with our vacation so he needed boarding anyway. What better way to make the best use of our boarding! Brax is a great dog, but flips out when he sees other dogs walking in the neighborhood. He is a regular day care goer, so he loves dogs, but Shannon helped us understand that's probably part of his reactiveness - he wants to PLAY WITH THEM NOW! and gets frustrated to not have that freedom. She worked with him on basic commands, and helped him realize when he can play and when he must follow our commands. She spent 3 hours with us on turnover day helping to train us which was crucial in making the great progress he made continue. Helps to know Shannon is just a phone call away if I need advice or guidance. So far, one week home, and Brax is doing great. Most importantly, he is still our sweet Brax. But his improved behavior has made us all happier. Thanks Shannon!

Such a great experience! We were so nervous to send our Aggie away for 2 weeks. We quickly named it her ‘Study Abroad,’ and WOW, did she learn! Shannon was amazing and so approachable the entire time Aggie was with her. Commit to consistency and Shannon will provide step by step instructions on how to make the process successful. Our family has learned as much as our pooch. I actually look forward to our walks now! Worth every penny!

Highly recommend Pawesonal Training! Shannon did an AMAZING job with our boy Marcus! He went in a 1 year old Golden Retriever mischief maker and came out a gentleman. His main issues were being excitable and jumping to greet guest, lack of recall, some distracted leash walking, among other puppy behaviors. All of these greatly improved right when he returned. The biggest success by far was the training knowledge my wife and I gained.Aside from the in-person training with Shannon that was wonderful, we really received a lot of support, comfort and resources from the video training and daily updates that were sent while our dog stayed with her for the two week training/boarding. Especially with the education on using the e-collar which was new for us (life changing). The e-collar was something we had always been interested in but can seem intimidating when learning from a book rather than an experienced person who understands the nuances of a tool like that.Now a month removed, we have been able to incorporate these tools and have an even better relationship with our dog that we are immensely grateful for. We can’t wait to travel the world with our well behaved, loving and joyful furry friend!Scheduling was also a major bonus. We paired the two week training/boarding with a vacation we had where we were going to need to figure out dog lodging accommodations anyway. The difference in cost to add such a personal and in depth training was WELL worth it!

Our experience with Shannon at Pawsonal Training was more than exceptional. We had our golden doodle Beatrice go through her two-week Stay and Train program. Each day, Shannon sent a number of pictures and videos as updates and to follow along with her progress. Throughout the entire training there was great communication and she answered all of our questions with thoughtful responses. Shannon provided many videos and education around the e-collar to help us get comfortable with it and explain best practices to set up our puppy for success. Beatrice improved with her impulse control, loose leash walking, and several commands including come/recall, sit, down, place. The heel command during walks was a gamechanger for us because she would previously pull hard and get easily distracted. When Beatrice returned home, Shannon demonstrated her knowledge and assisted by showing us what Beatrice learned and discussing various scenarios at home to show us how to continue the training at home and practice the skills she built during the last two weeks. We would highly recommend Pawsonal Training.

Our 7 month old Westie was on his way to becoming a wild animal, but after a two week board and train, he is now a ROCK STAR! Shannon obviously loves dogs and she took amazing care of our little guy. Thank you for exceeding our expectations!

Shannon was awesome to work with. She trains dogs with such care and patience. In just two weeks she was able to teach Jasper many things that allow us to have tools to keep him calm and us in control . Her teachings did not change his personality in any way which is the best part. There was lots of communication throughout the process which allowed us to see his progress and we learned what he was learning which prepared us for the turnover process at the end of training. So glad that we found Pawsonal Training and cannot recommend enough.
