The Comedy Cove

It was a great night! We had a lot of fun. The wait staff kept our drinks full and the comedians kept us laughing! We will be back!

Unfortunately was not my style of comedy. Many others there enjoyed and you may as well. It just wasn't my style. They chicken were really good.

Horrible Experience - Not what was advertised and no ownership taken by the host.My partner and I had booked tickets for they May 13th show at Hugo's Bar and Grill. We arrived early to pick a good table only to findout that there were only a couple of tables in the room and they were reserved, the majority of people just have a chair making it difficult to enjoy food and drink.After getting our seat, I went to place an order for food and was informed that many items such as the deep friend pepperoni were not availble. I ordered 2 baskets of wings and was told that as there were 20+orders in the kitchen they were no longer taking food orders and to wait by the door until service resumes. A group of us waited about an hour with no orders taken and no assistance from staff, after stopping someone, we were told that there would not be any food service and we could goto KOD and get food. KOD does not sell individual slices and a who pizza is a little large without a table to rest it on, nplus there was over an hour waitvfor service on sat night we were told.I returned to the venue to ask about receiving a refund and leaving before the show began. As someone who is pre-diabetic and did not eat prior to the event, I was feeling a little off. After explaining this to the event host/manager or agent, I was met with hostility, anger and lack of empathy. The man was very unprofessional and somewhat rude. As someone who worked in the tourism and hospitality industry for years, I was a little taken back.I urge future performers such as Nikki Payne to research this group and venue before planning an event, I am sure this is not the experience you want your fans and supporters to receive.Horrible service, did not receive what we paid for. Shame shame.

The basement" is a neat venue. Good size for a comedy show. Host Marc is hilarious... felt difficult to get up from seating during shiw to get more drinks... over all we enjoyed our experience!"

Went to the comedy cove last night. The food and service was great. Great spot for a Christmas party, work function or just a get together with friends. Comedians were really funny. Will definitely go back. A fun night for sure.
