Although I have not worked with Catlin personally, I have seen their work first hand and can say I was thoroughly impressed! Nothing but good things were said about the team and the final product looks great! Would definitely recommend Catlin if you are considering a home renovation or addition.

Catlin Inc. oversaw the renovation of our entire main floor (removal of walls, new kitchen, new fireplace, doors, windows, flooring, painting), a new staircase, new en suite bathroom, a new powder room in our basement, and the move of our laundry room from the main floor to the basement.Jay Catlin and his team were very reliable and professional through the entire process. We received regular communication on the progress and were asked for our input on preferences wherever possible, which we really appreciated.No renovation comes without surprises. If he was presented with anything unexpected, Jay brought it to our attention immediately and provided options as to how to move forward.We can't say enough good things about our experience, and would highly recommend to anyone looking at doing a large scale renovation.

Catlin Construction performed a major renovation for us and overall, it was great experience that exceeded all of our expectations. We transformed and modernized an old house with small rooms into an open concept. Our house was completely gutted and rebuilt including supporting beams, new custom kitchen, hardwood flooring, drywall, exterior doors, electrical, plumbing and duct work. Everything went as planned and was on time and on budget. Jay Catlin has a solid background in his field with both the technical know how and people skills required to effectively coordinate large projects like ours. More importantly I know Jay to be reliable and honest … what he tells you, you can trust in with the highest confidence. His team was professional, courteous, and respectful and they kept the work environment clean as possible. If you are considering Catlin Inc. for a project of any size, you should have zero hesitation as there are few around as good and trustworthy as they are.

Team Catlin recently completed the complete rebuild of our family home of 22 years, after a devastating total loss fire.We had previously worked with Jay on our main floor renovation 2 years before the fire. Given the circumstances, we wanted to work with someone familiar. Although at this point, Jay was early in his custom home building career, his passion and knowledge was what drew us to give him the job.Catlin provided us with a star-studded team to build our dream home. From the initial collaboration with Kelly in the office, to the design with Nicole of Services Rendered and the expertise of the contracting crew... not to mention the incredible oversight of PM Guy, we felt our new home was in the right hands.Throughout the entire process, the team was respectful of our situation (sometimes it was hard to make decisions without getting emotional), tidy and very outgoing. Never did a day go by where we felt we couldn’t approach anyone on site and ask questions or make changes.A memory we will never forget, was when the crew was working on Remembrance Day. We looked outside at 11:00 and the crew was gathered, taking a moment of silence. It was such a small gesture, but truly showed the character of these men.We would like to thank Team Catlin for their incredible dedication to helping us rebuild our lives- a position we never thought we’d be in. We are eternally grateful for the time you took with our family, and the expertise you brought to the table.

When we decided to buy our new house we knew that we would want to renovate significant parts of it, so we asked Jay and Guy to come and take a look and quote us for the work. We had seen the quality of Catlin's work in the past and so it was an easy decision to trust them with the work. Firstly, they identified issues that had not been picked up by the building inspection and needed to be remediated but listened to what we wanted and quoted accordingly. At no point did we feel pressured and in the end we decided to renovate the whole property. What impressed us the most is there were no short cuts, everything was up to Code, properly permitted and inspected and nothing was too much trouble. The quality of their work is also outstanding.The total renovations took 4 months to complete, were delivered on time and within budget. All of the trades were easy to work with, respectful and always willing to help. This was the same feedback we had from our neighbors.Overall we give Catlin 5 stars and would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a trusted contractor. We are very happy with our New Property and have the comfort of knowing that everything has been done properly and will last for many years to come.

We presented Jay Catlin and his crew with the design for our major home renovation, and the finished project exceeded our expectations. They took our small 1942 bungalow and underpinned the basement, built an addition, and added a second storey. Guy and Chase were always available for any questions, and concerns were addressed immediately. We were able to choose all the finishing details and everything was installed to our specifications. The end product has generated lots of praise from our neighbours. We have no hesitation recommending their work!
