Durham Golf

Based on the review I should have know but I gave it a chance and regretted it. Showed up at the range at 5PM on July 4th and there was a sign at the gate saying they were closed and come back another time. The website and hours show it’s open till 6PM.

Came in with my father to hit a bucket of balls each, entered the shop to pay for the balls and there was no cashier/or attendant. With a 20$ in hand, I called out “hello” numerous times, at which time I walked to the back exit/office to see if someone was available to take our money. The owner comes in ( very much high on coke/speed/he was not normal no joke)…starts cussing me out for trespassing. The owner is the biggest joke I have ever seen in a professional role.Would give a negative numeral for review if I could.

i honestly never understood the low reviews, the owners and staff are always friendly, the range is very spacious and comfortable. don’t be discouraged or nervous to come here from the people leaving low reviews, it’s a great place to have fun with friends or family

Price per bucket of balls in bang on the money, great location and great staff, if a little rough around the edges, but what you see is what you get and are you there to practice your game or not?

If you are looking for a place to be disrespected and treated like a second class citizen, Durham golf range is the place. This is not the first time I've been treated in this manner. But it will be the last, guaranteed. This dude, is the most entitled and ignorant attendant I've dealt with in sometime. These are the very acts that show people that racism is alive and still apparent. This is pitiful. Please don't spend your hard earned money at a place that disrespects its customers as though we are obligated to spend there. Other ranges take the time to work hard to win your trust. I'm not rewarding this bad behavior any longer. Disrespect one, you disrespect us all. READ ON TO HEAR WHAT HAPPENED!After asking if there were anymore free spots available, on a packed day, the attendant chose to point to the prices and grunted 5 and 12"

Absolutely disgusting behavior by the owner. I have heard rumors of this but did not want it to be true.It’s 2023 and CANNOT believe people still treat people of color this way. The way he spoke to the young man in front of me with such disregard and lack of anything really, was appalling. I then after went to ask for a large bucket of balls and he spoke to me in the exact manner. I looked at him and said. you know what

Went here with my 8 year old son on Monday July 3rd and was rudely refused cold water by the old man working because I did not have any cash, he did not want to let me pay by debit because it would cost him 30 cents . It was absolutely ridiculous will never return to this place

Best Driving range in town! Owner is friendly and was very enthusiastic when he saw my nephew enjoying golf! Id rate 10 stars if I could. 12$ buckets cheapest rate too

Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. I believe it was just over $40 for 4 buckets of balls at the driving range. It was quite busy but we were still able to get on right away. Tee boxes for driving range weren't in great shape. The balls would not stay on the tees on 2 of our 3 tee boxes but worked fine for hitting off the mat.
