Jimmy the Greek

I asked if they had an option to substitute the rice and potato’s from the meal, as the listed meal comes with “meat, salad, rice & potatoes.” they suggested i just get the meat and salad. Despite the fact that i wouldn’t be getting anything extra (meat,salad) , and after i tried to communicate this issue to them, they said either pay for it or don’t. I paid full price for a meal with only half the contents. What a joke. Mind you, this is a food court location so no one will care about this whatsoever.But maybe their rating being laughable will encourage the mall to make a change. What a joke

The worst service, cashier really bad vibes, another girl serving who really don’t want to help you at any point.. I do not recommend this place under any circumstances, so much better to be hungry than eat here

Sadly can only give 1 star, service was only worth 0 starsOn Friday April 22, 2022 I was working in Brantford and for lunch I decided to go to Jimmy the Greek in Lynden Park Mall. Upon approaching the counter there was an older lady in some form of scarf grilling food on the grill. She abruptly asked if she could help me. I asked for a Chicken souvlaki on a white pita. She was coming across as if I were bothering her.She got the pita which looked like whole wheat and I asked if if was white and she snapped yes at me. As she made the pita she asked if I wanted Tzatziki to which I said yes please. She put some on then I asked for extra. She grabbed a spoon and put a large glob on it then proceeded after the fact to tell me it was an extra $1.25. Seeing as it was already on the pita I had no choice. She put the remaining lettuce, and onions on it. She then asked if I wanted to cheese. I said yes please. As she was putting the cheese on it she said that’s an extra $1.25 also so I said stop I do t want the cheese.She had a younger girl cash me out who also was not at all personable and when giving me my food it seemed like I needed a catchers mitt as the food wasn’t handed over appropriately, it was more thrown at me. Upon eating the said pita once I got towards the middle of it, the chicken appeared quite pink and under cooked. I got busy at work or would have returned to ask for a refund. I was too mortified at the service I had already received and was going to contact Brant County Public Health but just decided to toss the food.Everyone has bad days but this was completely appalling.Now I believe the franchisee should be aware of this situation and if this individual herself is the franchisee she should be ashamed of herself.I will not at all visit this location again*** Update as of today June 4, 2022 ***Not a single person has reached out from the location nor corporate office as I filled out the contact form the same day as this review.Shows their complete ignorance to the situation.

Taste of food is great. Maintains the Jimmy Greek standard but I am leaving a 2 star review because they want to charge extre for Feta cheese on a chicken soulvaki. $1.50 for a sprinkle of Feta cheese. I understand charging extra for sides, but this is ridiculous. Feta cheese is added as an included item on other dishes why is Jimmy Greek using this approach jst on the chicken soulvaki pita. Do not recommend!

We had Jimmy the Greek cater our shop of 20 employees lunch in on Wednesday and they knocked it out of the park from the day we placed the order to picking it up the owners were awesome to deal with, the food was hot and delicious and the portions are very generous.

Food was awsome. Portions are fantastic. Fresh ingredients, great taste.

Food I got was delicious but they forgot a few parts of the plater. Service was mediocre although I understand we all have days that are harder. Would still go back for a do over

Food is good. But the owner has reduced his portion size and increased the price. I'm not a rich person, sadly I will not be a patron any longer. I'm sad...

Very disappointed with the food. We ordered take out and the food was packed into small cardboard boxes with no separation between the warm food and the salad. The tzatziki dressing was slathered on everything! Literally, all the food was drowning in the sauce. The meat was on top of the rice which was sitting in sauce! The salad was warm because the meat and potatoes were placed on top. My daughter had the spinach and cheese roll, and though somewhat tasty, it was more pastry and less spinach or cheese . Don't think we'd order from here again. Also somewhat pricey for portion size. Just not worth it when there's better restaurants out there.(Brantford location)

Please do yourself a favor and visit this location. Chicken souvlaki Skewers were juicy, rich and flavor and soft, chicken leg is just how its supposed to be cooked. Everything is clean and kitchen processes are proper.Ps.To owners please let the cook know that this is amazing work!
