Going with Caledon Mountain Events was hands down, the best decision we made for our reception! From the moment of our first inquiry a year ago to till the actual night of our reception, the team, in particular Michael and Sophia were the most amazing people to work with and amazing communicationPlanning an event, especially coming out of the pandemic, is very stressful but Michael made the entire process so easy, breezy super professional! They answered all of our questions, was always patient, flexible and just so kind and understanding!! Our guests cannot stop talking about how gorg and beautiful the venue is, how fantastic the service, ambience, all of it!Everything went smoothly without a hitch, thanks to the team! We are so grateful we came across Caledon Mountain Events! the venue made our special day extra magical! Thank you team!!! :)

Working with Michael to have this venue turn into the most perfect space for our private family wedding ceremony was such a gift. The vast venue allowed us to achieve our vision for our wedding in the most special way, where it felt beautifully intimate yet celebratory and not confined. Rain was always a concern but the venue allowed for options around this, and I also appreciated the ability to be hands on through the process of planning. My experience with Caledon Mountain Events was mixed - I was the second person ever to book this new venue for my pre-wedding Indian event. Michael, the owner, was very accommodating to begin with and offered a ton of help at the outset. However, as time went on, he became more disorganized. The venue appearance delivered- the tent was glorious. My real issue was his lack of organization, a month before the eventletting me know my DJ didn’t need speakers and I had to pay an additional $500 for a sound fee, only to walk it back when I was upset with this sudden additional fee, and then calling me ONE HOUR before my event to say he didn’t have a sound system. Thankfully, my DJ was able to find one last minute. Michael also called me the night before my event to check on what kind ofchairs I wanted. Throughout the experience, i had to check in over and over again to ensure the venue had my information, but it felt like they didn’t have anything organized until the end.Still, the property was gorgeous. Myguests were in love. I recommend for anyone using a planner, so you don’t have to deal with the headache ofcoordination.

I attended my sister's wedding at this venue a couple of months ago. While the grounds and the house are absolutely beautiful, one of the people running them, Michael, really put a damper on things.(Edit: in the response from the owner they suggest that Michael was an external vendor. He was not. He was one of the owners at Caledon Mountain Events itself).For example,There was an open bar at the wedding. Repeatedly through the night, I saw him walking around the reception drinking their booze. (To add, I believe he was supposed to be a kind of security" so it was very unprofessional of him to be drinking at all

I had my wedding at Caledon Mountain Events this summer. The view from the escarpment is beautiful, however there is a lot to be said about the administration. I'm not sure where to begin.I was told a few things by the CME team that were later untrue once the wedding came around. Such as, but not limited to, permits for alcohol, that the manor was uninhabited and that we had the venue until 1.30am. Long story short, we had to scramble to purchase alcohol last minute. The owner's family lived in the manor and they were seen in wedding party (some of my friends came up to me asking who that family was... it was very uncomfortable). I didn't want them there. The contract we signed said we had the venue until 1.30am (bride and groom till 3am to pack up), but we were being ushered to leave at 12.All brides have a few regrets after their weddings, but these are regrets I hope no one has to deal with. If you are planning an event at CME, please wait a few years for the team to have solidified everything. Do not work with new venues/vendors. It will bite you back.

Let me start by saying that I rarely write reviews, only if something has truly been life altering and I want everyone to know that there is a diamond in the rough.With that said, I have never had the pleasure of working with such a wonderful team! Michael in particular is truly one of the best event coordinators in the city, the passion to work with you and understand your needs is phenomenal.Honestly, if you need a venue with spectacular views, space to accommodate your guests; big or small, or just need a venue quickly and team who understands your vision and wants to do everything in their power to make it come true, honestly, your search ends here.

Wonderful wedding event with a beautiful venue. Michael’s communication skills made the event painless. The drapery, facilities, and view were well maintained and spotless. The venue and parking were also convenient.

Went there for our friends' wedding; picture perfect venue on the side of the hill! The tent was decorated lovely, the view of the forest behind the ceremony was stunning, and the whole event went smoothly. Amazing venue!
