Nookie's Soul Kitchen & Bar
Found this spot on google while driving and stopped on our way back home - first visit and VERY impressed. Food was fresh, hot, beautifully presented and delicious. We had Chicken Marsala and a special (Sunday) of Pan-seared whole tilapia with a couple seared shrimp, fresh mango salsa, a colourful and a flavourful rice pilaf. This was an exceptional meal that rivals many of the higher-end restaurants in big cities. We will definitely come back often - and tell everyone we know. Chill atmosphere and friendly staff. Try it - you won't be disappointed.

Delicious. So happy we stumbled into this little place. Service was friendly and food was amazing. My kids agreed best mac and cheese ever". Prices are so reasonable. Will definitely come back next time we're in the area."

food tasted great! (some spices can LITERALLY choke the elderly or children, be mindful) service and food were really good, didn't get to take better photos of all dishes though. and for what we paid, waaaay better than the sushi place in town (which currently has a higher rating than nookie's) we got the garlic-something mussels, got the steak -which needs better plating, imho. but it was good! can't say the same for the lobster, girlfriend didnt like it.. i forgot what her issue was. same thing with the pasta, it could use a better presentation.. mussels thing, looked okay and tasted great. probably awesome with 2 more slices of bread for the sauce. i forgot which pasta we tried, but that's the one you have to watch out for for small, spikey spices! pasta could be a little softer..5 out of 5, cause I'm not a karen.

This place is so good. The food was tasty and the veggies were fresh. We enjoyed the french onion soup and the Yorkshire pudding. The kids pasta was delicious and the portion honestly is for an adult. The music and vibe are really nice as well. Our server was just the cherry on top. She was super nice, helpful and funny. All in all this was one of the best dining experience I have had.

Food was well presented and the service friendly! Good vegan options try the ravioli and vegetarian platter. I had the lobster pasta. Good portion...not as flavourful as I like. The atmosphere is great..relaxing and welcoming.

Food was delicious, parking was on street and not hard to miss.Tried the surf and turf + green salad which was actually big for a side ( I don't mind ) and garlic bread. Had a cocktail and my friend ordered lobster Mac and cheese.Enjoyed both. Worth the long drive out of the GTA to a small town port DoverStaff were all very friendly

Service and food was great! Hollaindase sauce could use a little bit more flavour and steak was a little thin and maybe a little overcooked for medium rare. The home fries had great flavour, but lacked a little bit of crispiness for my liking. Enjoyed my food and time at the restaurant!

This is some of the best food I've ever had in my life. I'm not even kidding. The prices are fair. The food comes hot and fresh. The vibes are very nice. Comfortable dining area and washrooms. You must try to see food. Linguine and the steak. It comes with mashed potato and the vegetables. Prices are so nice
