ABSOLUTE BEST PRICES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!Back in October 2022, we started browsing for a sectional couch for our family room to replace our existing one, which was a Palliser that we bought at the Mississauga Chesterfield Shop back in 2008. We visited many, many furniture stores across the GTA to look at options and decided on getting another Palliser sectional, given it had done so well for us in the past.As Palliser has many choices, I first researched online and made calls to narrow down our options before going in store to make a purchase. We again visited and spoke to many stores that carried the Palliser line and we ended up making our purchase in mid-November 2022 at the North York location of the Chesterfield Shop.During our first visit to the store, we had the absolute pleasure and great fortune of meeting Walter for the very first time. We too, could (like another one of his customers said) “sense his sincerity and genuine nature within minutes of meeting him.” From the get-go, Walter was respectful and patient, asked us questions about our needs and uses, and offered explanations regarding the various Palliser couches. He pointed out the little intricacies (the way the cushions sit for the various models, the material inside the cushions, the size of the seating area, the way the armrests are designed, etc.). We never thought of these things, but they were ultimately quite important to our decision-making process. We also talked about the various leather options that were available and this is when Walter showed one of his many rare qualities - the most important part of the sale for Walter is ensuring that the customer is happy and satisfied with their purchase. Walter is not about upselling and clearly listens to his customer’s needs, wants and so respectfully offers options for you to consider. Honestly, this is quite refreshing when you go shopping for a big ticket item, but unfortunately very rare, these days. In fact, the Asher model that we ended up purchasing was shown to us by Walter. We did not make our purchase during our first visit, but because of our experience with Walter, we knew that once we were ready, no matter what, we would return to the North York Chesterfield Shop (despite living in Mississauga) to make our purchase from him. We not only ended up purchasing the Asher sectional couch in fully leather (Classic grade, Burgandy colour), but we also purchased the matching reclining chair as well. As the items we wanted had to be special ordered, we had to wait for them. Many other stores were saying it would take 4-5 months, but Walter and the Chesterfield Shop made it happen earlier. Our sectional and recliner were delivered to us on February 3, 2023….within 2 ½ months of ordering… and that includes accounting for the holiday period when most companies shut down. You honestly cannot ask for more! We also want to give “shout outs” to Priyanka who made sure that the delivery went smoothly and it did and to Mona who assisted with getting a missing cable very quickly for us. Thank you.The Chesterfield Shop in North York is the best place to go for Palliser as they not only have the best prices (and believe me, I shopped around), they also have the biggest selection for you to see, touch and test out. They also have many other brands to choose from. We highly recommend them and if you go see Walter, you will not be disappointed!

Do not buy from the Chesterfield Shop. I ordered a couch in June 2022 and was told it would be shipped to me by September 2022. It is now the end of January 2023 and I still do not have a couch and am being told it will be in the warehouse in mid-February. There have been a total of 5 delays with every excuse - no springs, no frame, supply chain, the holidays, etc. I have been extremely patient up until this month. I have had a couple calls to request a refund and now they are refusing to answer my calls. I will now have to try to seek to get back my $2222 deposit through a claim to small claims court.Feb 5, 2023 update: I have been provided a full refund of my deposit. In response to the below comment, I understand that the manufacturer let you down, however your staff never once proactively reached out to inform us of any of the delays. It was only when it would be around the time we were told it would be ready and we didn't hear from you that I would email or call and then be told there was another delay. We were also told we would receive weekly updates in January and that never happened. Poor customer service is not something that can be blamed on the manufacturer. I also found it insulting after 7 months, the only compensation we were offered was $250 off on a $4444 couch and that was after talking to the VP of Sales. I also sent an email a few weeks ago to say that we would be seeking a refund on this if not delivered by the end of January and there was no reply or phone call to respond until a week later when we were told the couch would be delivered mid-Feb.

Went to Chesterfield showroom yesterday noon & decided on this black leather double sofabed with the help of the Senior Design Consultant Ms Darya Newstead without being pushy but helpful with all the information & details of each of the products we looked at. It’s not yet noon time (less than 24 hrs) & it’s already delivered & we’re now able to enjoy it! Thank you Darya, the delivery guys who are courteous and The Chesterfield Shop! We’re now planning to get our next one soon!

Good service and staff are friendly. Went there to search around for some new furniture pieces. Staff were very patient and allowed us to walk around the showroom without being disturbed until we needed help. Pickup of small pieces were pretty quick once the item came into their warehouse.

10/10 experience. Steve and Pam are the best, and Marty was super helpful in making sure we made the right choice. Not to mention we absolutely LOVE our couch. Will be back for our next.

We recently purchased a new sofa and 2 chairs here. Andrea helped us choose the perfect pieces for our family room. She listened carefully to our needs and made us feel confident in our choices. She was so patient with us and took lots of time to explain about different manufacturers as well as fabric selections. She took the stress out of shopping for for these items (there are SO many choices!) We are so excited to receive our new furniture and also to do more business with Andrea in the future! Thank you!

I was greeted as I entered by David Zworth. He invited me to look around and said he’d be available if I had any questions. I had an idea of what type of sofa (chesterfield) I was looking for and I had a specific size in mind. David is very knowledgeable about the size of each item on the floor. He quickly brought me to exactly what I was looking for, gave me detailed information about the manufacturer, warranty, etc. He found the model in stock and arranged for delivery - at my convenience. —so convenient and helpful. I saw a lot of quality merchandise on the floor. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this local store, especially the sales professional, David.

I am a happy customer! Our sales rep, Walter, was amazing, answered all our questions and there where no surprises . I can’t say enough about the great delivery guys. They where fantastic , kind, patient, respectful of my home and right on time! Thank you . I am a repeat customer , this will not be my last purchase at the Chesterfield Shop.

I was in the Missiisauga store yesterday looking for a sofa with a certain criteria. I was meant by the sales person Sandra Broglio. Sandra was amazing, there was no sales pitch, the questions she asked me were to help her pin point what my needs were In a sofa. Sandra treated as a person and not like just another sale. Sandra cover all the pros and cons of the sofa which no other sales person has done with me. I would highly recommend Sandra for her honesty and her knowledge of the products. Thanks again Sandra.
