Beautiful b&b...rooms are gorgeous, very clean. Ground are emaculate with gardens throughout. Henny put out a fantastic breakfast...fresh fruit bowl, peach and berry juices, best tasting coffee for miles around...and couldn't get enough of the crepes, sausage and bacon...will see you again in our travels Henrietta.Kirk and Veronika Sills

Best place (including Hotels/Resorts in the Horseshoe Valley area). Near enough to Orillia and Barrie.Best value for the money!!Beautiful! Quiet! Clean!

Warmly welcomed late evening, after a spontaneous decision to find a B and B following a romantic dinner in Barrie. Henni was kind and gracious as we arrived at 9:30pm.The king room was immaculate and gorgeous! Crepes were phenomenal with fruit, homemade apple butter and perfectly done eggs, bacon and sausage! Yummy coffee too. All was made perfect with delightful conversation and a new connection formed! Strongly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay, relaxed outdoors and watched the horses and had a delicious breakfast of fruit and crepes.

My friends and I had an amazing overnight at Hackney Horse Bed & Breakfast. Henni & Frank are great hosts. They let us check in early. I had a king room, which was spotless and very VERY comfortable. Full ensuite. Really nice views - the horses were fun to watch. The breakfast was made to order, which was a nice surprise. Excellent coffee. I would definitely stay there again. So much nicer than staying at a hotel.

Our interaction with this host was thoroughly unpleasant. I’ve never experienced such rudeness before. I thought the few bad reviews on here were not the norm, but as it turns out she is even worse in person.Mid-Jan I made a reservation for the king suite for our anniversary and paid down a deposit, all confirmed via text. We confirmed the details prior to our arrival (a month later). When we arrived we were taken to a double room. I told the woman we booked the king suite. She seemed confused and called the host - Henni.Henni arrived quite upset and spoke to us very condescendingly from the hop. She said the king suite was booked indefinitely but that she gave us a better room (double bed). I said we had booked the king suite for our anniversary, and that I wish she had told us ahead of time so we could make an informed decision. She started ranting about how much work she does and it’s just a room, how immature are we? I asked for a refund (at that point we had no interest in staying with someone like that) and we started walking down towards the exit. She followed close behind us the whole way, yelling at us about how much work she does, bragging about her big house and horses, that we were immature, asking how old we were. We were silent the whole time, just wanting to leave as she seemed very unhinged. At the exit while we were getting on our winter boots, she kept yelling at us. My partner asked her to please stop as we were clearly leaving. She didn’t and kept haranguing us.Per my partner, she was the most unpleasant human he has ever encountered. I’d have to concur.

Had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful B&B for two days. The room was spotless, bright and airy, with an on suite full sized bathroom.Henni is an amazing lady, very friendly and accommodating.Full breakfast is included in the price with choice of crepes, fresh fruits, bacon, eggs, tea, coffee and juices.The surrounding property is quiet, and picturesque with the fields and horses.Can’t wait to visit again.

Absolutely rude owner customer service. Never experienced this in my lifetime of inquiries. I texted the owner of this bed and breakfast as one of the sites indicated they were text friendly" The owner responded by giving me the cost and a brief description of the amenities in the family suite. This lead me to call in the morning as I was very interested in bringing my family here as they have horses and my daughter loves them. When I called for more information

Staying at this lovely bed and breakfast while we were working at the Boots and Hearts Festival. Loved the home but loved our hosts, Hinny and Frankie more. This couple is sweet, charming, funny, talented and will serve us the most amazing country Breakfast each day of our stay!We stayed in the family room which was quite spacious and lovely and had its own bathroom complete with an amazing rain shower.The home is gorgeous and located in the country. As you pull up a long driveway, you are can see how well the owners take care of their property and horses.The flowers are lovely and if you ask, you can go out and feed the horses with Frank.Be sure to request Hinny's famous banana bread - it is the best I've ever had. If you are lucky, Frank will even play the accordion for you.While we stayed, we watched the hosts be so accomoding to us and the other guests as well.Definitely hope to be back to see this lovely couple and stay in their home again some time!Miss you already you two!! ❤️Nina and JD

Henni is extremely welcoming, generous & pleasant to be around.I stayed there 3 nights while working a nearby event.I met 2 others while there who also loved stay several times with Henni while working nearby.She had banana cake, blueberry pie for us to eat as extras any time, like in the evening when we returned from working the event!She fed us really well & was beyond generous.The room was beautiful the house charming with gorgeous garden & fields surrounding.I hope to stay there again, I’m so glad I found Henni & Frank their beautiful place!
