This was a great hotel. The only negative I had was that it was a bit noisy but some of that might not be the fault of the hotel. For context-I booked a room using a 3rd party app, they put me in a room next to the elevator. The hotel was full because of a big event in the city they said. But it mean that I was always hearing people walking past with heavy luggage. People had no issue talking loudly or sometimes yelling outside my room. Also the window of my room was located in the area that the bar or restaurant is? So could I heard all the noise from that until 11 at least. Discovered that I brought earplugs luckily but that wasn’t until 12-1am. So not pleasant. However, that was my only negative. Also I don’t stay in many hotels, so maybe it’s normal? The room was still very nice, hotel very nice and premium. And the staff was extremely great. I wanted to make a personal shout out to Amanda and Christopher at reception who really went all out for me. Excellant hospitality !

The staff at this hotel are exceptional. They are truly trained in providing excellent customer service (which is rare to find now). There were some unexpected inconveniences, but the hotel staff did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible and always with kindness and patience. I would stay here again solely due to the staff, they deserve a lot of recognition. The rooms also have nice character and are spacious. Good value stay.

Excellent hotel. Service was superb. The room was clean, fresh and modern with historic charm. The bed and sheets were very comfortable and I liked the nespresso in the room. I had lunch in the restaurant and it was very good. I was at the hotel for a meeting. The meeting room was nice and the catering was also so good I think I gain a few pounds.

I had a great experience at Hotel Nelligan that needs to be shared. I walked in at 4:40pm on a Sunday for our company's Portfolio Manager Meeting. I asked for help for my colleague who needed to buy a shirt since the one he came with somehow was dirtied. Immediately, Luca stepped up, found a store that was open, drove us there, waited for us outside, and drove us back in time for the start of the event. Wow! We were impressed! Thank you Luca and the concierge team for the amazing service!

Bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Breakfast was excellent. Part of one breakfast was raspberry jam/ preserves which were Excellent.Rooms need work. Very few electrical outlets, most are very inconveniently placed. Bathroom sink is so shallow that water easily splashes out. I was billed for gratuity amounts that were much more than I authorized.

We recently enjoyed a spectacular stay at Hotel Nelligan. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. The doormen/ bellhops, front desk staff, housekeeping team - they all provided amazing service. Their kindness was evident throughout our entire stay. Our room was clean and spacious. The exposed brick vibe is stunning. Toiletries were luxurious and in abundance. The hotel is in a prime location in the heart of Old Montreal. We loved our nightly walks throughout the beautifully lit cobblestone streets of Old Port! Mornings consisted of a quick walk down to Nelli Cafe, to enjoy a complimentary freshly brewed drip coffee.Overall Hotel Nelligan is quaint and charming- and I would highly recommend it. Thank you to the amazing staff for making it such a memorable stay for us!

Hotel was nice. But street it's on turns into racing night club at 11pm. People yelling, loud club music, revving redneck cars. Everybody at the party. Ends in wee hours. If you like to sleep at night this is not for you.Service was poor at breakfast in cafe. Choices were limited on food if on hotel plan which the kitchen found uninspiring.

We stayed in one of the Junior Suites and it was perfect for a luxury experience. The jacuzzi was nice and spacious and worked great (though it does sound like a jet engine). The location is great, right at the heart of old Montréal. Nice comfy big bed and beautiful exposed brick and stone walls completed the package. Reception were lovely too.I was pretty unimpressed by the atrium restaurant though which (despite a lovely setting) had that combination of 'ok at best' quality food and high prices that's so common in city centre's but really let's down the overall fantastic experience of the hotel.Everything else was first rate and I'm delighted with my stay. At some point room service showed up with free candy which was an absolutely lovely touch just to put the icing on the cake.

Overall a great hotel well-worth the price. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only reason I can't give a 5-star is because we had a very negative experience the second day with our included breakfast. We waited almost 40 minutes for our food and it was served cold. We also were told the valet would be 5-10 minutes loading and bringing our car out front on the day we left, but we waited for almost 30 minutes. Minor gripes, I know, which is why we will definitely be back next time we are in Montreal and hopefully I can turn this review into a 5-star.
