So far I have talked with a nurse practitioner and she was extremely helpful through the initial part of this process. I don’t know what the rest of my experience here will be like, but my hope this is the first step towards a healthier well being! Stay tuned!

This review is NO reflection of my provider and their work with/for me. This review is strictly regarding the business/company LifeStance Health, and even more specifically their billing dept. I often get billed incorrectly and what they say I owe is different than what my insurance EOB says I should owe. On more than one occasion they have not even submitted claims to my insurance and tried billing me for the total. Trying to get in touch with the billing dept is IMPOSSIBLE! I have used the patient portal with zero response, I have left phone messages with zero response, I have even tried going through my provider (which admittedly billing issues should not be their burden)….therefore 2 stars is probably even generous, at least regarding the billing dept.Note: this survey request was sent to me only after they finally responded to my portal inquiry…approx one month after I posted the message to the portal and tried calling multiple times and contacted my provider multiple times. So they have finally responded this time, but over the past couple yrs with this company, this is not the first (and unfortunately, probably not the last) instance of this lack of/delayed billing response.

I got a new psychiatrist from life stance and me and her hit it off right away. She understood me and I’m so thankful. I did not cancel this appointment Because I was giving up on my meds. This saved my life. Thankyou!

I had my first session yesterday and it was very helpful. Donna was kind and a great listener. I had a lot to unload and she let me vent. It made me feel heard and she validated my feelings.

Very easy process to see my Doc. Love the virtual appointment options. Feel valued as a patient.

Amazing providers in a calm, restful environment just on the edge of Exeter's very walkable downtown. Parking is tough, and the parking lot out back is reserved, but the street parking is free and I've never had an issue finding a spot.My only complaint is about the building itself which tends to run very hot. The occupants seem to have almost no control over the heat except to open a window.

Lifestance Health providers are excellent- I adore my doctor and she has been a tremendous help, this review is not a reflection of her or the other providers I've seen.This one star review reflects Lifestance's policies and their billing department (ESPECIALLY their billing department). First and foremost, I had gone through a couple doctors before finding my current doctor which is completely fine, it's the process. The issue I had is that when I asked if I could pick which doctor I wanted to see (I had gone through and looked at what each specialized in- I kept getting doctors who would dismiss some of my mental health concerns because they knew nothing about them), I was told I couldn't choose, it was based off of recommendations from my last doctor. Really?The woman I spoke with did say she could make a note of which doctor I wanted to see, but it wouldn't be a guarantee. Luckily, I was able to get an appointment with my chosen doctor and what do you know- a doctor I chose for myself actually worked out.While that's a pain and disregards the patient and their wishes, my biggest problems with Lifestance Health come from the billing department.I don't know what they're doing over there, I am just constantly confused and worried by it (great for a mental health company, really great). Good luck ever getting in contact with them for starters, you can leave portal messages and phone messages and never hear back (I asked a question back in October of 2022 and still haven't gotten a response...granted I don't need an answer anymore but it's an example of how you'll be ignored). You'll be on hold for an hour+ and the phone will just...say goodbye and hang up. If you do manage to get someone, it'll be at least a 45 minute wait, despite the automated voice telling you it'll be a 10 minute wait.The billing is totally sporadic, there is no set day they bill you (some companies bill on a Wednesday, some on a Friday, some on the day of your appointment...not Lifestance!). I asked them why this is on multiple occasions, and got no clear answer.I asked if I could take off auto billing, since my household is on one income right now and we need to account for budgeting (money being taken out at random times really screws you sometimes), and I was told a card had to be on file in order to make appointments, so that's not an option. I am billed in random increments- sometimes it's my actual copay (I checked with insurance on what the copay amount is), sometimes it's significantly more for whatever reason. I am also getting paper bills all of a sudden, asking me for payment...but they auto bill me.An absolute mess. The only reason I feel even a little bit okay giving 1 star is because my provider is amazing. Other than that, this company functions so completely backwards and only adds to my already sky-high stress levels. I wish I didn't have to deal with them at all, it would be such a weight lifted.

Ericka has been phenomenal! She is understanding, patient, and flexible. Its clear she is interested in staying up to date on new science, and even offers suggestions on things like vitamins for me to try, which makes me really trust she’s got my best interest at heart since I know she doesn’t make anything when I’m buying vitamins off Amazon. Highly recommend!

Helpful, friendly, and expedient in setting up appointments. I can't speak for all of them, but if the other providers are anything like mine, you'll be quite happy.
