Paws On A Journey

Vanessi is so professional, very communicative and is so calm with our sensitive boy Huey. We were seeking a pet sitter about a month before we had planned a week long trip out of province. Vanessi worked with us leading up to the trip, so that our pup could get used to the new human in his life. They went on a few walks and had a visit beforehand. The doggy logs are great, and Vanessi sent lots of updates and photos while we were away. We are very happy with Vanessi's services and will hire her again - Huey already misses her!

Vanessi is very talented taking care of pets. She helped me with my two dogs and a cat several times and they love her!

Putting the trust of your beloved family in someone else's hands, even the furry ones, is not always easy... but Vanessi has made our busy days effortless by removing the huge responsibility of caring for our precious boy, ensuring he is well walked and socialized and played with. I have 2 Dalmatians that suffer from separation anxiety and Vanessi took wonderful care of them. They felt comfortable at her place on the first day!She also kept me posted of everything + photos of my babies!I highly recommend her services. She really loves animals and is extremely caring. :)

Five stars it’s not enough for Paws On a Journey. Vanessi who’s the owner of Paws On A Journey, does her job very well. My dog ( Moana) loves her, to stay with her, when Moana stay with her it’s like a dog spa. She enjoys every minute, she plays, she has some walkings during the day. Vanessi is always updating me about my dog, if she is going for walking, eating or playing. She feels like a home and she already stayed with her twice while I was travelling. She will stay more for sure. I highly recommend Paws On A Journey for who lives in Calgary and needs a dog sitter.

We’ve met Vanessi last year, when we just had arranged a two weeks vacation abroad.Believe it or not, we had a request for her that was not something easy, we needed her to build a friendship with our dog, so he would “accept” her staying here while we were going to be away.Easy peasy you may think, but we have a giant breed dog, a rescue dog, very anxious, very hard to be friends with. He fears everything, although he is very sweet and caring to our family. He is very sensitive to leashes, and a senior dog. We know we can’t board him easily in a hotel, and would need her to stay here while we were away.A few months after she started seeing him, we had noticed so many improvements on him, he is less anxious, he is calmer around strange people, and to top it off, he even let her put a leash on him once or twice!So I can say Vanessi really became friends with him; the way she talks with and cares about the lives in her hands is something we absolutely don’t see everyday.I definitely recommend her services!

We have been so fortunate to have found Vanessi (Paws On A Journey). Our Luna was only 4 months old when we started dropping her off 3 days a week. We feel Vanessi is part of Luna’s life now. Luna gets so excited every time we drop her off. Her plays dates with Prada are the best. Vanessi is so kind, caring thoughtful genuine person. WE highly recommend her.
