Dream Sleep Respiratory SW Calgary

I originally gave 1 star due to the lack of support when my cpap machine was recalled. I needed it desperately, and I explained this to them. The only option they gave me was to buy another one. No ETA on when a manufacturer supplied replacement would arrive, and it has been months now. It also took them 2 months from the manufacturer’s official recall notification to notify me. Given the severe nature of the recall, this was a bit scary. No offer to give me a break on the price of a new one, or buy my replacement cpap when it arrived. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Anything would have been appreciated. Sorry guys. Other than this, I’ve had a very good experience.

Started off well - very supportive. Never got to see the doctor, only the therapist technicians. After insurance goes through, I felt like they rushed me out the door.Not sure if its worth 3 times the price for their equipment justified by their continued 'support'. Might be better off buying the same from Amazon for 1/3 of the price.

Sub standard service.I dropped in to get a new hose for a Dreamstation 2. That should be straightforward. I was given the wrong hose, as I discovered when I tried to install it at home.I returned to Dream Sleep and told the staffer at the desk about the issue and asked for an exchange. She insisted I had the right hose and handed it back to me and proceeded on with whatever she was doing. I insisted that the hose was the wrong size. She again insisted I was wrong.I said I was certain and asked her to compare hoses for Dream Station 1 and 2. Wordlessly she went to the back and after a long discussion, came out with a replacement hose. She dropped it on the counter without a word or an acknowledgement and that was that. People should be granted some courtesy when an error is made, especially when they are inconvenienced. This was not a good experience.

Experience was positive. Good service, product seems to work as advertised. Consultant made good assessment of my needs and worked comfortably without any changes. I used the trial period longer than expected with no complaints from the vendor. Overall very satisfied with the service.

Had a wonderful appointment with Christie today. she was extremely helpful in explaining how to operate the cpap machine. She was covering for Ashley. This is my first day with the machine so I will find out if it'll make me feel better. Also received wonderful help from the receptionist, Colby. She helped my guide dog and I out to my Mom's car with the machine and brought in Mom's oxygen machine she was needing to bring back, so thanks for everyone's help. Just hope someone can pick up the recorder that I have for the follow-up study. thanks to Erin who brought it on Jan 13.

Ashley has been very helpful and patience. I had a rocky start with the CPAP trial. She listened patiently and responded to my feedback, and made adjustments to the method that ultimately worked for me.I am lucky to be helped by her, or I may have already aborted the trial long before, instead reaching the final decision to purchase.

Top notch customer service. Very short time to get an appointment from the time the doctor issued the requisition. Great choice of products. Staff takes the time to understand the patients budget and needs. Very thorough in explaining everything in detail to the patient. Highly Recommended.

I was having a very expensive appointement here a 9: AM for a PFT test and I have to say that the person that conducted the test was so professional, patient and knowledgeable in every way. He really made this experience much better than what I would expect. Thanks for caring !

Finding this office hidden in Strathcona Health Centre is worth the effort. Ashley, our Respiratory Therapist, has been wonderful to deal with! She has worked carefully, clearly, and kindly with the us to manage my husband’s apnea. They work directly with our other healthcare provider and insurance, making it all very easy. The equipment she recommended is perfect. And her follow up has been flawless! We highly recommend this office!

Have dealt with Dream Sleep for several years. Have purchased machines and had servicing done. Always helpful, professional and lovely to deal with. They are great about the billing with health care insurance - including sending quotes for pre-approval! AWESOME. I just wouldn't go anywhere else!! Glad to see you've expanded to near where I live - every location I've dealt with is the same super service.
