I wouldn't bring my dog here for boarding if you offered it for free. Staff seems nice. However, they really don't do much with the pups. Didn't see many toys or playful engagement and barking and voicing their feelings seemed to be frowned upon.

Today was my first time bringing my 7 month old puppy. The young lady working there was so knowledgeable, she answered all the questioned I had about my dog, what collar is best to prevent pulling on walks, crate training, just a whole bunch of areas I needed help understanding. Staff went above and beyond, very patient when my puppy got excited and was barking a lot, she stayed all the way until the end of the night, 9pm with a smile. This place is a God send !!!!

Penny and I just completed the 6 week training program offered by Barks n' Rec. I am honestly amazed! Matt is very knowledgeable and his training methods proved successful. During the first class Matt said “By the end, your dog will do a sit, stay while you leave the room.” - Needless to say, with a 5 month old Australian Shepherd puppy, I was very skeptical… I shouldn’t have been. Week 6, Penny did sit and she did stay while there was PIZZA in front of her and while I walked in and out of the class; I was speechless.Matt may offer and suggest various collars and haltis as tools to help your dog focus; we found the padded martingale to work best for our needs. He has a little boutique in the facility so you can try on a variety of collars and even get your pupper a toy for being so good!Ultimately, you are the one that will be trained. If you are committed to learning and are willing to be constant with your dog, you will see results in this class.I highly recommend Barks n’ Rec. Penny will definitely be back to see her friends and partake in some doggie daycare!

An amazing place run by people who really care about our four legged friends. We started bringing our puppy to day care when she was just three months old and she loves it! Thanks Matt and team for taking such great care of our doggos!

We stumbled across Barks n’ Rec last year when we were looking somewhere to take our coonhound. Our dog loves the outdoors and wanted to find a place that not only had a large indoor facility but also outdoor so he can bask in the sun in nice weather. We also wanted somewhere that we could board him for overnight or longer stays and not worry about adding onto a one play time or walk.Matt treats his business like a true daycare. He is selective with who enters into his pac. All dogs need to be vaccinated and not aggressive. Dogs of all sizes are welcome. The care, love, affection and treatment your furry pet gets from the staff is nothing short of amazing. It took us a while to find anywhere that we felt comfortable taking our furry child Tracker and this is 100% the best place. This was the only facility we found in Mississauga that offered unlimited play and indoor / outdoor space.We have recommend this to many other dog owners. Thank you to Matt and his team for offering the best place for Tracker!

A tired dog is a happy dog!My mini goldendoodle loves this place. She loves the open play session and always has a great time. The staff are kind and courteous.This place is clean and smells great (because the dogs relieve themselves outside). No walking in each other’s mess.
