The Sprinkler Guy

I found the company communicates efficiently and effectively. They deliver on the promise made regarding timing of their visit. The person who came to turn on as part of the sprinkler package was very professional and also managed to do an excellent repair job. He was very efficient and quickly fix the problem. I am very impressed compared to my previous service provider.

Repairs done on my sprinkler system done. my question is why does a customers have to pay 3 time for repairs. This should have been one in 1 repair. A large company should have stocked item on hand for repair and tecks should have parts in trucks available. Seems customers are being over charging for repairs.

We value this business with our irrigation winter maintenance. They are well organized, professional and have prompt customer service. They were able to fit another neighbour into their schedule which was much appreciated.

They generally do good work, but some of the technicians I have dealt with in recent years have been less professional than I would like (not all, but some). In terms of response time, I have had some less than ideal experiences in the last 2 years as well. I am hoping that improves next year.

I am not sure what to say. But I am more than disappointed. 3.5 years ago when I moved into our residence I went a head and used Sirocco Landscapes in Kamloops who contracted out the “sprinkler guy” to do there sprinkler and maintenance work. Kyle was the first to show up. Nice guy chatty but stepped on a plant which resulted in malformed leaves for the season and never apologized as I stood there and watched it happen in the moment, then came the pointless phone calls back and forth for scheduling issues and inappropriate billing for services not rendered such as recently when they tried to charge me a return fee for mileage for going out to my home after I told them I wouldn’t be there. OMG!That I believe was the second time that occurred in one form or another…I call that poor communication and inappropriate billing. Then I had a fellow who was taking over for Kyle who came out last summer to attach sprinkler extensions or heads to flagged areas on the irrigation and that was done incorrectly which resulted in inappropriate billing for their mistake and a return trip to fix the problem. There wasn’t one time where anything went right.The only reason I gave them one star was because there receptionist I believe Paulina was always a very pleasant person to speak to on the phone.I am a tolerant person, must be to keep them coming back time and time again but mostly it’s because it’s hard to find anyone who has time to offer the service. So ya get what ya get I guess but no more.

Our service technician, Chris, from Sprinkler Guy was amazing! He went well above what was expected in his care and attention to detail with the install of the system. He ensured all areas where done in an aesthetically pleasing manner and listened to all my requests. I would highly recommend him to anyone who required this service.

To be fair, I've heard good things about this company. I have not had them come out to my place... because when my system went out the secretary told me I was S. O. L. for months. But she'd be happy to put me on a waiting list.In other words... Tough luck.Zero options.No suggestions.No explanation.And couldn't care less.So this review is based on the lack of client care and inability to expand a customer base.If my experience changes, I'll update my review.
