The food was good food was delivered right to the car the old fashion way. This bring back old memories. The only down side they do not take debit or credit so make sure you have cash.

Great place for ice cream. Food is over priced frozen food that is deep fried and by the time you get your meal it’s typically cold.The grounds are well maintained and there are plenty of places around back to sit and wait for your order or hang out. In the summer time it’s nice to sit in the inclosed area around back to avoid the bees and bugs.The lines at the front are not well labeled so be sure that you’re in the right line to either order food or just ice cream.Be prepared to wait a very long time on nice days and long weekends as the crowds get huge.

TLDR: Expensive, cold and slow.Victoria day service was good, servers were nice and quick when taking our orders. However, our group of seven waited for over 45 minutes to get our food and we were all highly disappointed. Our food was cold and frankly underwhelming for such an expensive order. We paid $85 for a terrible meal and we were all left unhappy with the experience. Many other tables got served before us and we believe our order was left forgotten until we asked at the 40 minute mark. We all expected better from such a highly praised location.

Only 6 cars in the front parking lot. We pulled in and waited 15 minutes for someone to come to our car to take our order…. Watched two other cars who pulled in way after us get served. We finally gave up and walked to the front window only to find two young female employees standing by the second window, TEXTING ON THEIR PHONES. If you zoom in on the hands of the employees in the photo I’ve added, you can literally see their cell phones in their hands. If they don’t want to do the job they’re paid for, FIRE THEM.

Such a hidden gem. Price is so good. Nice soft serve plus fast food. Lovely back yard and or shelter area to sit and relax and enjoy your ice cream treat or meal. It is a cash only venue though...they have an atm on site

Delicious every time! Always worth the 45 minute drive we make for a treat every once in a while. Ice cream has always been great, good root beer floats and hot dogs are also delicious too. The menu is huge, so many different options in terms of food and dessert. Service is always friendly and fast. There is the option of placing your order/having the food or snacks delivered to your car without you having to get out, or getting out and waiting in line. There is also a huge yard with plenty of picnic tables to enjoy the nice weather in the summer. Always a great place to go with family and friends. Highly recommend!

Awesome place to get some lunch or just enjoy a cold treat if you can decide what to choose! There is a wide variety of cold treats to choose from. This is a cash only establishment, but there is a cash machine on site if you forget. Lovely staff with great service.. open late and you can sit in your car to enjoy or you can choose a table outside in the park like setting. Plenty of parking available at the side.

This place is an Essex County classic.Either you know it - and already love it, or are about to visit and love it.Great atmosphere, food and drinks are reasonably priced. Classic dinner fare, with great quality ingredients.One thing to be mindful, it's cash only. But there is an ATM on site.
