Very poor experience. First time visiting this dentist office. Went in for a simple cleaning - was advised at time of booking that it would cost me $240 for first time fee and full cleaning. When I went in for my appointment she wasted half of my time chatting away and after a hour told me I had to book an appointment again to clean the remaining teeth given they charge by the hour. I recently moved to Stoney Creek - wasn’t aware the dentist were ripping clients off by charging them by the hour for cleaning teeth.

If anyone avoids dentists as much as me then please do yourself a favour and come here. If I had found them earlier I'd still have my teeth instead of being here to have the broken pieces removed for dentures I've never felt comfortable at the dentists until now. Unfortunately too little too late for me, but maybe not for you if you're like me and happen to read this. To everyone at highland dental thank you so much

Staff here are super friendly and it’s a very clean environment. However, every time I’ve come here for an appointment with Dr. S, I’m never seen on time. I’m almost always waiting in the waiting room for about 1-1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment before even being seen. There are times where I’ve moved through hoops to go in late to work to accommodate for my appointments, and I’ve had to outright leave because they wouldn’t have time for me. For example, I had an appointment at 2pm and was waiting in the waiting room until 2:45, when I was told it would be another 30 mins or later til I’d be seen. I was able to ask my boss to start at 4 instead of 1 to accommodate, and that’s all for nothing now. So, if you need to book an appointment, make sure you have the whole day off of work because you might be waiting there for hours.

If there is anyone who has crazy fear of the dentist , it’s me !!! I literally tremble and feel like I’m going to be sick when getting work done and the fear of the work is something I can’t even explain! Based on life out of my control I had not seen a dentist till I was married. By then so much happened with dental work I really did not think I would be comfortable again. Tried different places until today when I found my perfect spot!I am here to stay!!!! The staff treats everyone like family, they treat one another with respect and friendship! So friendly! Then the dental dr ( Dr Bart ) he came in really cared how I was feeling. He gave me the freezing and the FIRST time in my life I did not feel the needle or his work! He took his time was gentle and caring and that helped with my fear ! Even asked twice if I was okay! Worked great with his hygienist who was also very caring too When he said all done , I was surprised it went to well . He took the time and was caring and passionate on his work and for that I am forever grateful! I have finally found my forever home regarding dental work!! I was referred here for a complicated abstraction. The doctors colleagues were correct she was empathetic to my anxiety and pain. The dental assistant was so calming and reassuring also. The receptionist is friendly and knowledgeable also. If heaven has a dental office it would be here it is state of the art.If you are looking for a new dentist you must go here. I live an hour away but the drive is worth can't say enough about the Dentist, staff and surroundings.Tarah

Luckily for me, I've been their patient for 20 years. I am more than pleased with the whole team: Dr. Derek, Dr. Bart, Sandra, Cathy, Maggie & everybody else. The place is well clean & organized. It seems to me that absolutely everyone is very much oriented to SATISFYING & TAKING A GREAT CARE of their patients. The waiting time has been reduced as well. If you are struggling with finding the right place for taking care of your teeth, go no farther. This is the place that will provide you with complete satisfaction. I experienced such a high level of professionalism from the first call I made to this clinic.I absolutely like the staff, cleanliness and reasonable pricing.Very SATISFIED with the final results.The only thing I very much DISLIKE about this place is the waiting time for the appointments. This clinic is never on time, so be prepared to wait a very long time to be seen.

Best dental office ever. Everyone, from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist are extremely pleasant, efficient, and thorough. We have been visiting this dentist for over 15 years. Our children have only ever had this dentist - from their first visit, they were made to feel comfortable at the dentist. I would very highly recommend this dental office to anyone, especially families with kids - they are great with kids.

Our family has been patients of Dr. Srokowski since his early days on Hwy 8 in Stoney Creek. Three generations have had many various dental issues and needs and he and his hygienists have looked after them all. Very professional, friendly and reasonably priced. We absolutely couldn't be happier. I have recommended them to many friends and all feel the same. Hygienist Kathy is the best.

Exceptional service on all levels, plenty of parking, clean, modern building, friendly and prompt reception desk, informative and caring dental hygienists, and as a cherry on top, approachable, comforting and expert Dentist with great peoples skill - all those elements combined forming superb experience for me at Highland Dental Centre.
