super happy with the customer service, a girl named Emma who works here was extremely helpful and friendly. just bought new shoes and she found the last pair in my exact size! only four stars because checking out was super slow. other than that great experience!!

Their general offer signage drives me crazy. Sign will say 30% off. Get to the cash and that one is not included. 4 out my last 5 visits this happened. At least have a way people can check the price like at Canadian tire.

Good store, good co-vid protocols. Couple of areas were lacking in stock probably due to shortness of product again caused by Co-vid 19, but staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of space to move around in this store.

Store is clean and bright. Staff are very politel, helpful and knowledgeable. All the top names for sporting goods like Nike, Addidas ext. They have cool Leafs and Jays sports hats, jerseys ect. If you want quality name brand stuff this is the place to go in Bowmanville. Bought this sweet TML hat there. Take a peek there are a bunch of nice hats as well....had a hard time choosing.

The store did not let me return an item bought from another sportchek location less than 24hrs from the purchase. They asked me to go back to the store I bought the item from. I had to drive 30 minutes to the Whitby store that I had bought the item from, only to find out that return of the defected item could have been done at any sportchek location.I will be trying my best to avoid this location now on.

Do your homework people. My Fitbit charge 5 died, just out of warranty, but being a loyal Fitbit customer (owning 3 watches over 10 years) I thought they would value my loyalty and think it fair to replace my defective watch. They said they would have liked to cater to my request but they rigorously test each watch, and therefore were ready to let a potential lifelong customer go, instead of doing the right thing.A search for reviews on the Fitbit charge 5 revealed I was not the only customer who got stuck with a lemon, some dying within 7 months (and yes they honoured that warranty) but when the same person had their next charge 5 die within 8 months, Fitbit would not honour the 2nd watch as it was a replacement for the first.#Fitbit, you clearly know that your Fitbit charge 5 is defective, and instead of fixing the problem, and supporting people, you're just losing loyal customers.If you're in the market for a tracker stay clear of Fitbit. Their customer care is not worth the frustration.

A lot of things gone wrong tonight and it wasn’t a pleasurable experience. I hate to bring in the race card because I thought that I am not going to experience it and I’m not going to be one of those who weren’t spared but the moment I asked for the apple Iwatch series 8, I was given a distinctive uneasy, unwelcome and indifferent treatment. And it makes me furious. I was hoping to buy the watch that I’ve been eyeing for a while now. The associate wearing a black top whom I assume would be a manager (distinct and memorable eyebrow, just to set her apart), went to the back store to check on the phone that I wanted. I don’t know if it’s just me or what but she looked kind of irritated and she didn’t hide it. Another blond female associate wearing red sportchek top (I looked for a name tag but none) whom I asked as when the store discount/promo ends despite me seeing the ad placed there on top of the product gondola (it ends tomorrow, Dec. 7) said that it ended yesterday. I asked why is it that the promo is still posted, she said it was supposed to be taken out this morning but forgot. I work in retail and I know how things work. My heart is beating fast now ‘cause I know something is going on and I didn’t like the look that they’re giving me. I walked around the store looking for another associate and I asked him about the in-store promo and he kindly assisted and engaged with me like a normal customer . He checked up on me and answered every questions that I was asking and viola, he told me that the promo ends tomorrow which is December 7!!! I was getting upset but still didn’t made a big deal out of it. 3rd one on the cash register, I got her name, Emma, keeps eyeing me while i was standing on the area in front of the iwatch gondola. And how uneasy I felt when they are talking to each other but kind of like whispering and then look at me afterwards. And then came the paying, I was given the wrong iWatch despite the fact that I specify to the associate in black top what Apple iwatch series 8 I liked. I still stayed even though my husband has asked that we just leave because he saw my upset face. But the last straw was these three people just looking at me indifferently, how unapologetic or just simply lacking customer service skill, I decided to leave. It’s not worth it. I was even supposed to buy two more apple iwatch SE for my daughters but I’d much rather spend it on another sportchek location.Three people:The female associate in black top, with the distinct eyebrow linesThe female associate, blond, wearing red sportchek shirt who lied to my face about the end of the in store promoAnd the cashier, Emma who kept eyeing me as if I’m of going to steal something.I just wanted to be able to take my apple iwatch series 8 tonight as a gift for myself. But hey, what a way to treat your customer, eh? I wonder how differently could that have been if I had a different skin colour.Kudos to Ariana and Kayden, the two associates who treated me with respect, like a regular customer and who made things bearable for me while inside that store.Sportchek Bowmanville store, you just lost a loyal customer and almost a thousand dollar sales.
