PASSION FOR CAKES

My wife and I recently had our wedding in Victoria, out of town from Vancouver. We decided to get our 3 tier wedding cake from Victoria instead of transporting it there. Corina has been very kind, patient and very accommodating from start to finish. She was also very generous for the cake testing, as we imagined it would just be a few pieces for the flavours we wanted for our cake. Instead, she gave us a massive wedding cake! By doing this, we were able to make some changes to our cake design so that it turned out perfectly the way we envisioned on our wedding day. She was very patient with us throughout the whole time and communicated & responded very quickly. Being out of town wasn't an issue at all. Not only did Corina design our cake flawlessly, many of our family and friends also enjoyed their lavender or raspberry cake slices. She exceeded our expectations with both her design and flavours of her delicious cake! She definitely has passion for cakes!

I had the pleasure of working with Corina on an anniversary cake. You can taste and see the care and attention and uniqueness put into every cake. Many flavours to choose from and combine. You can tell real are ingredients used. Buttercream icing is something special. I ordered a marble cake with cherries and buttercream icing. Seriously the best cake I've ever had. So moist and flavourful. I can't wait to order the next one.

My wedding day was adjusted due to COVID and was such a busy day. Corina just happily whisked in and out to deliver the cake, ever soo quietly and quickly - just like a cake fairy".Needless to say

Not only is Corina one of the loveliest humans I have ever had the pleasure of meeting but she's also one of the most wonderful professionals I've ever dealt with in my adult life. My Husband and I had a less than traditional request for our wedding with dreams of a Rice Krispie Treat offering for our guests and Corina more than brought that to life! Starting with a proper 'tasting' for with varying degrees of 'gooey-ness' so we could find the perfect combination of Rice Krispies and marshmallows and ending with a 4' tall, Rice Krispie Treat Wedding Tower decorated with fresh Gerbera Daisies and multi coloured ribbons. My Husband and I were over the moon with our 'wedding cake' and it was a HUGE hit with our guests young and old! Like so many couples my Husband and I were impacted by Covid and had to reschedule our wedding twice but Corina never skipped a beat and happily rescheduled along with us and even wrapped all 120 Rice Krispie Treat in their own bags, tied with their own coloured ribbons to keep things 'Covid safe'. On what would have been our first wedding date that we ultimately had to reschedule, we even found on our doorstep a heart shaped Rice Krispie Treat with a note from Corina reminding us that 'Love is never rescheduled' we still have that note from her along with the wedding card we found from her on our wedding day wishing us well and many years of love and happiness. Corina's skill and baking prowess will have you booking her for your special day but her charm, kindness and effervescent energy will have you coming back for *all* your special occasions.

Corina is so talented! We got a stunning cake for our wedding thanks to her expertise. She is so kind and professional, and made the process easy. She took our inspiration photos and made it her own. The middle tier with lights and greenery was all her idea, and made it even better than we imagined. As for taste, it was the best cake we've ever had! By far the best custom cake baker/designer/artist on Vancouver Island. Aside from the intricate designs on the outside, we are always amazed at the flavour and moistness of the cake inside, and how flavours can be layered! Since my wedding cake (see pic!) I've re-ordered for birthdays, parties, and family celebration cakes on an annual basis.

Corinna created a very delicious and beautiful 4 tier wedding cake for us. The taste testing she offered was amazing (you get to eat so much cake!) and the final result was just like the inspiration photo I showed her.
