Sunny Chibas Fried Chicken Mexican Cantina is my favourite Mexican restaurant in Vancouver area. I love Mexican food and this place offers best of the best. Almost tried everything on their menu since years ago and everything is amazing, I love the portion sizes, made for me:)

Yeah top notch!! Anytime I come through Squamish I stop here and always get the chicken Taco salad. First off. For the haters saying it’s a pricy. It’s $19. I’m 6ft 230lbs and I can eat, always have been able to and the taco salad fills me up! Albeit I often eat 3/4 of my wife’s crispy bowl part. But even on its own it’s a full meal. So for $19 I don’t know what you expect? Go to subway and get fabricated chicken for $15 if that’s too expensive for you. I can’t speak to the fried chicken or any other items on the menu. But I promise you, you will not be disappointed with the taco salad. With food prices and rent these days you can’t get a meal for much less than $19. The whole tip option. Yeah everyone these days are asking for tips. It’s a bit silly. They asked me for one at the fish monger. I mean we don’t tip them at Costco and they put our groceries in boxes. So yeah. Anywho. I highly recommend!

We came in pretty late in the day, and it was super busy, they were trying to get into closing, but still served everyone with a smile and let us sit and eat in. The service was great and the food was amazing. Huge pieces of chicken, really moist tender beef in the tacos and big portions for the sides. My whole group loved it, loved the vibe, the music. It's not sophisticated or fancy, but it does not need to be.

Great place to have dinner at Squamish. Decorations and vibes are amazing. Easy Parking outside the restaurant . Food was very good, nice taste and portions are good in size.Prices are okay especially with portion sizes. I think , we go there again.

Large portions and super fresh and tasty food. Great place to stop to fill up gas at the Shell located beside it and have a quick bite on the way up to Whistler/Squamish

The good:- huge portions; I mean two can share most of the burritos, salads, etc- funky vibe inside and outside with convenient in and out the highwayThe bad:- very pricey; $11 for a one piece chicken meal with fries and a drink. $19 for a taco salad. You get the gist- when paying by card, they ask for a tip prior to service. It’s fast casual restaurant. Who and why are we tipping? Everything is self service including picking up the order and cleaning up. This is tacky.- taste wasn’t great. The chicken was dry and the pork was almost bbq flavor. Nothing Mexican about that.

Food is cold when we ordered for here, everything on my moms plate was cold to touch.. basically no sauce on enchiladas, very dry. And not very well seasoned. Was so excited to try this place for the hype but not worth it. Sad to say.

Fast food Mexican eats. Mushroom gravy poutine was very pricey$$$, looked very unappetizing and did not taste great.... Fish and prawn tacos were okay, the latter tasting better. Veggie enchiladas had a nice spread (refried beans, rice) , but would advise against getting the cauliflower - wasn't a great filler for the enchiladas. A cool, hip joint. On the pricier side of average.

The atmosphere is kinda wild but that’s the entire vibe of the place.If you want top notch Mexican food truck food in a trendy restaurant format you should eat here.I had the steak burrito & fried chicken poutine. Chicken was a little dry & steak was too chewy at times but all in all would definitely come back!
