Blomidon Inn

We've stayed here several times now over the past couple years and plan to continue. It's such a relaxing and elegant setting. The rooms are classicly designed the feel like you're in a Charles Dickens novel while having all the modern amenities you'd expect. The included breakfast is fresh and the restaurant is a delightful treat. Favorite vibe though is waking to a custom roasted hot coffee on the front porch (see Pic). Best way to start the day!

Stately old inn, beautiful grounds, great dinner, and helpful friendly staff. Continental breakfast was fair. Our only complaint was the bed. We rarely have bed issues in our many travels. This bed was terrible. We both had trouble sleeping during the night due to back pain, and woke with bad backaches that still haven’t gone away after a couple hours. Unfortunately we would not stay again despite all the other pluses.

Nice old house, spacious and well kept. Dinner was really good, and we stayed in the cottage which was fun.

Another wonderful dinner at the Blomidon Inn. The experience here is always second to none. The fine dining experience is made better by excellent staff, superb timing, a dynamic and seasonally inspired menu, and a great atmosphere in this historic building.Go, eat, drink, enjoy, you won’t regret your decision.

My family and I had the most incredible stay here this summer. The rooms were beautiful, the gardens were immaculate, the food was great, and the employees were all very friendly. They didn’t even mind that my baby made a huge mess on the dining room floor every morning at breakfast (sorry!). Easy walking distance to town as well. We felt very welcome here. Thanks for the great stay.

If you appreciate warm hospitality, historic homes, and dining experiences with exceptional attention to detail, this is your place! The atmosphere, cleanliness, and service were phenomenal. Our room in the main house, our 3 course meal in the evening, and buffet breakfast were a package so it was excellent value for money. A true experience that won't be forgotten. Thank you!

Blomidon Inn is great, with everything you'd expect from a classic bed and breakfast. The grounds are well kept, and the hotel is clean.We had two rooms, one of which was notably nicer and newer than the other. I would recommend asking for a newly renovated room if at all possible.Breakfast is fine, but feels a bit more like a Hilton Hotel continental than a special experience. Would be 5 stars if breakfast was better.

Our stay on August 3rd was our first, and it won't be our last. You'd been on my bucket list since my early days with White Point Beach Resort, and have always admired Donna and Jim's passion and contribution to the tourism industry.Spending our wedding night almost 3 decades ago at the Amherst Shore Inn, it was lovely to include you as part of this years anniversary adventure.Our room, well, that will always have to be OUR room :-)The stately and beautiful decor, the library, the garden's are stunning - and that trail was a delightful discovery. The patio is such an oasis for our breakfast which was full of variety and delicious!), my only regret is that we didn't dine with you for dinner - we'll fix that on our next visit - when we bring a gang of friends with us for a winter hiking adventure.Staff throughout the property the staff were kind, helpful and always attentive.

Had the pleasure of a 2 night stay here May 25, 26, 2023. This wonderful Inn is classic in all regards; our room being tastefully appointed and clean and the attentive service coupled with the fantastic meals with their unmatched, beautiful presentation. Kudos to the culinary team for their flair and perfection.The included continental breakfast was more than adequate with sliced meat, boiled eggs, toast, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices and more.They even remembered that our booking had mentioned 10th anniversary vacation and presented our dessert on our second night with Happy 10th Anniversary" elegantly scrolled onto our plate

Went here for a birthday dinner. Had a lovely 3 course meal and everything was cooked to perfection. The servers were very attentive and kind. The building itself is gorgeous and has a very nice, intimate atmosphere.
