Co-op Contractor Centre

If I could give 0 stars I would have. Completely terrible experience today which was my first time in this store. I was looking to get a can of deckstain matched and first of all I spent a good half hour or so standing at the paint desk waiting to be helped. The cashier paged for a worker to help me twice during this time yet I still had to wait and there was hardly any customers in store. After that I was told the can I wanted which said must be tinted could not be tinted cuz she didn't recognize the product? So I chose a different kind and then was informed they didn't have the tint in stocks and wouldn't have it for a week minimum. Why bother selling paint at all I don't understand. Seems to be a huge lack of organizqtion

Have a lot of items. Friendly staff. Lumber and plywood is more expensive then places in spruce grove. Depending on how much you need, might pay to travel further. No prices or items on website. Supposedly working on it.

Stopped in for a few supplies and they had all we were looking for. Even had them tell me about the North Central Co-Op app and I got a free bbq lighter just for downloading it. All around awesome stop !

For 33 years I have Love the Co-op Home Center , they have really good staff there, whom are knowledgeable, willing to help you and are not whining... I would have gave 5 stars if it was not for their new policy... to do a return, you have to go all the way to the back service desk, Stand in-line(some times for a long time) and then they give you a refund slip, then they send you back up to the front to get the refund put on you debit card, low and behold you now in another new(long) line-up.The line up was back to the paint counter. Very maddening, people are fuming at the stupidness of this new policy. The poor staff are inundated with complaints , nobody is rude to them, but they do say something. If your going to keep the policy of having to go to the back counter, then make it so there is enough staff there to accomodate the new procedure, and please make it so they can return the funds to your debit card right then and there. From a customers prospective, they think if it is not broke don't fix it. (you may have your reasons, but it is not good for the customers).

Love the fact that they are still community oriented and service is great, but prices are high.

I would NOT recommend this store for any hardware needs. I went in to get some supplies on Saturday around 930am ( not busy at all ) and was treated extremely poorly by not one but 3 male employees all standing around chatting about a furniture display. They couldn't even be bothered to walk me to the tool isle they just pointed and said try there. Not to mention they never have what i need, i always have to go to spruce anyway. I left and went to home depot, will never go back!

I've found things there you don't always find in big stores. Staff really try to help you

Did a job in Stony plain, customer use these guys for their supplier. Nothing but issues with everything. Absolutely everything! Would not recommend this place. What a nightmare!
