RACIALLY PROFILED:Went in the store to look for a water bottle, I was looking around and got approached by one of the cashiers asking me if I needed help looking for anything. I replied with no because I knew what I was looking for and didn’t need help. I take maybe 10 more minutes looking around, they didn’t have a water bottle that I liked. As I’m walking out the door to leave the cashier behind the counter yells “You’re not buying anything!?” I am so disappointed in my experience there. I felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable after that statement was made. It is not up to the cashier whether or not I spend my money. And it is not a crime to browse a store. I know she treated me this way because I am bald black half white. It is pretty obvious seeing as I’ve been followed around the store being watched on multiple occasions in this store. Will never be returning.

I love the red apple, always find something for everyone in there. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience there yesterday. My nephew asked a staff if he could use the washroom, she said she would take him in the back. I had my baby as well so waited by the door to the back while the staff showed my nephew the way to the bathroom. He’s 10 so doesn’t need help in the bathroom. My baby was fussy and I could hear someone speaking over the speaker but didn’t pay much attention. Then I heard a lady yelling. Then I realized that a staff member from behind the till was yelling at me (across the store) that I needed to go back there with him. I was caught off guard as the first staff said it was fine that I waited there. The yelling staff continued to yell across the store at me that I needed to go back there with her staff. The staff in the back opened the door and said she was sorry and that I could take two steps in to be by the bathroom too. It was such an uncomfortable situation. We ended up not buying anything that we had picked out as it was rather embarrassing being yelled at across a store excessively. If that was enough when we walked to the front to leave, she started yelling again that I needed to be back there with her staff. I could see it if was a young child that may need help, or the bathroom wasn’t visible from the door, but this was just bananas. What a turn off. We used to like to stop in there but not if that’s how staff treats customers. She could have easily approached me and spoke to me like an adult. It wasn’t like there was a huge line up or anything keeping her stuck there.

Very similar setup to the Giant Tiger stores but they have a good variety of options of stuff inside we can find stuff what I need plus more. The kids clothes, sock sizes are all amazing. I love going here for whatever randomness I cant get at a decent price every day at a grocery store.

Some decent stuff. Very disappointed that there was NO restroom for me to change my babies diaper! Staff could of been kind enough to let me use theirs. But come on! Its 2018 and no public restroom!?! In a store that sells family related items? Very un impressed that i had to find an area and use the stores floor as a change table.

I love red apple! Would love to get a part time job there the staff is over the top friendly and always have the best in store deals I Definitely recommend popping in and saying hi and picking up some trinkets they have the best stuff and you don't break the bank!

Great store. Nice people. Alot of variety to choose from like food drinks pet supplies household priducts clothing toys and more. They got alot of inexpensive things you can buy. I just got a pair of shoes for my daughter for $1 and also a couple pairs of baby outfits for $2-$5 I really enjoy shopping here

It's an okay store. I go there in a pinch when I can't get out of town. Sales are decent,, but not amazing. I wish they didn't blare a country music station that was tuned so badly it keeps fading in and out. Also, staff should smoke behind the store, not beside it. It looks bad on the store.

Excellent service. Pretty good selection of things you might need as staples and other items. We live in a rural area and it is one place that seems to be hiring oftenOften people who are entering work force when older and teens in final years of high school or new gradsGives them a place to start a resume and learn skills but I suspect hours are really bad and would certainly be minimum wage. Have no idea of what manager is like or if this is an overall situation
