Sunik Roofing

was told repairs were to start in Spring but we are still waiting for them to start. There is always a delay and when we ask for updates our emails are never answered or might take weeks to hear that yet again there was another new delay. I was even told that they were trying to get a rush on the materials, along with aligning a crew to complete the roof replacement to have the roof started in the next 10-15 days( this was in July 2022).Hope the saying its true, good things are worth the wait?

I contracted with Sunik to replace the roof on my 1959 bungalow and detached garage. Given the scale of hail damage in Calgary this summer, very few contractors bothered to return my requests for quotations. Sunik stood in sharp contrast to that, and the company owner dropped by himself to provide an estimate. His estimates on the time required to bring in the shingles and then schedule a crew were accurate. After we scheduled the job, the crew showed up on time first thing in the morning and immediately got to work. The replacement of both roofs, including re-sheeting of the garage, was complete within the day other than some minor finishing work that they completed the next afternoon. I was impressed with the focus and professionalism of the crew at every stage. They did an excellent job executing the work and keeping the yard free of debris. I would not hesitate to recommend Sunik Roofing to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive contractor.

This company was delayed due to rain and finished our roof in one day. The crew (of 10) worked like crazy all day and were so pleasant. The clean up was outstanding and I have high standards. The bin was removed when they said it would be, they cleaned again and later that day the final inspection was done and one last clean up. They kept us in the loop to when they were coming so I could arrange to work outside the home. The quality of tile we got was awesome and they were one of best priced companies. I would highly recommend Sunik roofing to anyone. I was very impressed!!!

This is the second time that I have used Sunik. I didn't write a review the first time because as a first time house owner (having escaped the condo lifestyle) I didn't realize how important it was to be able to find trustworthy and capable contractors to complete the important jobs involving your house.I came back this second time to complete a re-roofing of my garage; the first time using Sunik was 8 or 9 years ago following a severe windstorm that took off much of the house's original roof.What really impressed me this second time is that Marcus remembered that original job from years ago as we discussed the new roof for the garage.Tina was super quick in responding before and after the job was completed and Roland and his co-worker were great in getting the job done and they left the site nice and tidy.I will recommend them to others and will use them for any roofing needs that may arise in my future.

We had our roof replaced by Sunik Roofing about eight years ago and we wanted to have it checked, particularly for popped nails, vent flashing's, chimney flashing, skylights and for weathering on the crown tiles. Sunik sent Marcus. who came out to the house in less than a week and he was fantastic. He not only gave us a verbal report, but he fixed, ( nailed, chalked) what need to fixed and touched up but also sent us picture of where the repairs were needed. I can't say enough good things about Sunik - they really care about their customers and that you are happy with the quality of their work.

My wife and we’re reroofing our garage when rain threatened. Kevin and his crew were working across the street took it upon themselves and quickly came over and offered their help to close it in and also installed some shingles. They were very fast, polite, hard working and produced quality work. I would recommend Kevin and his team for your roofing project. Their generous actions showed what awesome people they are and it was greatly appreciated.

This review is for the roof replacement quote we received a few months ago. While we ultimately went for a different company for our specific install, I wanted to point out that I was very happy with the estimate. Sunik was one of the few companies that actually sent someone out to inspect the roof in person. They also took a lot of time to explain the process and answer all questions - of which I had a lot as a first-time home owner. The estimate was very detailed and had all options laid out properly as requested. Thank you!

Marcus and Sunik Roofing put together a team of professionals that did an amazing job of repairing hail damage to our home sustained last July. Timely advice from Marcus led to a successful rebate from the City of Calgary's Resilient Roofing Program and we were also able to upgrade our siding to a more resilient siding as well. Our insurance provider reduced the cost of our premium as a result! In summary, we are grateful to Marcus for looking after all the details that transformed our home being damaged and susceptible to being damaged to being aesthetically impressive and storm ready..

2 years ago, I was looking to update my roof. Sunik was the only company that didn't try to upsell me, or say I needed immediate repairs. They told me I could wait, so this year I made sure to call them.It didn't stop there either, they told me which options were and weren't right for my house, and didn't try to push the most expensive choice.I am confident that I got great work and great value because of this.
