Mercedes and the other girls working today were amazing. So friendly, knowledgeable with products and provided great service. I came in for one item and ended up leaving with 3! I don't say this lightly coz I've never had a good customer experience with Mac anywhere in the world. Keep it up girls :)

Employee, seemed like she was distracted or didn’t want to be there , I asked for lash glue and she got me one I asked if you guys took the mall discount card for employees because I am a manager in the mall and she said no we only do discounts for ACTUAL artists kinda sassy. What I didn’t tell her was I actually have graduated from Blanche Macdonald a year ago and I am an artist but this assumption and attitude was rude I didn’t feel the need to. As a manager myself I would look into this employees behavior because it’s not going to facilitate a good culture within the makeup community if you make assumptions about people. And young artists won’t feel welcome in your store.

I recently visited Mac at Metrotown and Ravia assisted me in finding the makeup I wanted and handpicked what was best for me. I have never received such AMAZING customer service from any Mac store or any shopping store in general. She helped me chose the colours that look best on me and gave excellent advice. This girl needs a raise! Absolute keeper! Amazing service and I’ll always visit this location because of her wonderful customer service skills.

I bought a sale item here, but then, only 5 minutes later, realized I needed a different shade. All I requested for was an exchange, and only five minutes later. The employee adamantly refused to do anything - I had barely left the store. Terrible customer service, employees were not understanding - probably scared of their manager's policies.

I had such an amazing experience here with the help of Donna! She was so lovely and humble. I spent over an hour figuring out what concealer would work for me and she was so patient with me even while working on the floor alone with other customers on the floor.

Not even want to give 1 star. I and my friend went to the store yesterday evening. We were browsing products. We asked for help from one employee and she said she will be right back with us but never came and stood at the counter after helping another customer, totally ignored us. Then we were the first one in line to pay and an employee asked us to be aside so that they can help another customer to pay. They treated her very nicely, gave her samples and all. When we had to pay, we felt like he was just getting rid of us and didn’t offer us any samples, didn’t give a good customer service. That was very very disrespectful for us. We will never ever going back to this store and won’t let any of my friends and family to recommend it to anyone else.

I wanted to give it 1 star but one of the staff who helped me was nice. So I bought something online with a discount. Concealers were 30% off but I didn't know the concealers run so much lighter than the corresponding foundation color. I don't use it for highlighting I use it to cover blemishes. So I went to the Metrotown store to do an exchange. Online it did say nonrefundable but exchange ok. I just wanted a darker shade to match my face. The first girl who helped me said that with online purchases the exchange would need to be done online. So basically fill the form and mail it back and wait for them to mail the right one to me. It made no sense to me since I'm in store already. It'll save so much paper packaging, time and effort. She said she understand and will check with her manager to see what they can do. The problem is with the manager's attitude. And honesty I wasn't sure if I was speaking with the manager because an older lady with short white or platinum blonde hair helped me. She was so abrupt and short with me. I explained to her how the color was so much lighter and before even letting me finish she kept saying I need to do it online. I also explained I'm not really able to deal with this the next few days due to other personal reasons. She made me feel so stupid and just kept saying it's easy you just do it online. Eventually she said she could make an exception but she'll need to charge me the difference. I can almost see her eye roll on me. It's not a busy day maybe there was one customer there. She didn't need to be so aggressive and annoyed. So I left.I called a different mac location and they were so helpful. They at least explained to me why. At the end they cannot promise that they can exchange without charging me the difference in price after sale ends but explained why to me. Even something as simple as letting me finish my sentence made me feel better.I had no issues with the first girl I spoke with. She was respectful and at least listened. The second lady I don't understand how she could be a manager.

DAWN was helping me this evening and dazzled me with her experience, knowledge and patency. I tried a few different foundations and lipstick and I love the colour she offered. I left and I came back later and Dawn was gone for the day, MELLISSA helped me and she made my day. Thank you both for helping me.

I am sad to hear that the Back to Mac program came to an end on 3/31./2023.There wasn't much of a selection to redeem from by then, which sucked.Shoutout to the great staff at Metropolis who worked hard to accommodate every customer during that insanely busy time.
