Carvella Café and Event Center
Attended this great cafe with a large group of friends who ride. I had the chicken Ceasar salad and a slice of home made apple pie. The food was amazing, the staff were welcoming and quite friendly! All in all a great experience!

Best prime rib and gravy I have ever had! Awesome baked potato with all the trimmings and I even ate the vegetables which were so fresh! The cheesecake was to die for! Great service and a great spot for a unique experience! Will be back for sure!

What used to be a fantastic dining experience is no longer. Although the room decor is very nice, the food is very substandard. My supposed-to-be-hot supper meal arrived on my table cooler than room temperature. Why would a fresh salmon fillet and cooked vegetables be so cold when the kitchen is only 10 steps from my table, and there were only 5 people in the restaurant? Then the server left a large tray of sour cream, butter and chives (for potatoes) on our table. It was obvious that the butter and sour cream had been previously dug into by other eaters. This large condiments tray was left on our table for our entire mealtime. I wonder whose table would get the community" condiments tray next? Not very sanitary. We were very disappointed because Carvella used to be a fantastic

I love the atmosphere, the food was great, good price and portion size and the service was perfect. A perfect hidden gem, which I'm going to be frequenting.

This is a hidden gem in the little town of Benalto. The food, service and ambiance are great. This is the second time that we have been here and we were impressed the first time and the second time did not disappoint. The food was tasty and served hot. Overall the experience was great and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is clean and well lit. Lots of eclectic decor. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Drove this afternoon to head to our favorite Cafe in Alberta.The owner is amazing.Great homemade food, cinnamon buns to die for. Made our pooch feel like part of the family. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience.

What an amazing surprise! We were referred by a local shop owner in Sylvan Lake. We drove out to the country and had one of the best roast beef dinners I have ever had! It was like eating homemade to perfection. Prime rib, potatoes, veggies, Yorkshires and delicious Gravy. Dessert was also amazing and we had trouble choosing only one to share, but we were so full. The restaurant is quaint and also sells some antique furniture and jewelry. Make a reservation - you will need it. Absolutely perfect date night.

What a hidden gem, cant believe we didn't know about this place! Amazing place with tons of character and unique pieces, great food at a great price! Service was top notch especially with 2 little ones:) we will definitely be back again soon!
