Hot Topic

I ordered something about 3-4 months ago online and was overcharged for no reason. I ordered something for 115 US dollars and that what it said on the receipt along with the shipping and tax and all the fees. Instead of being charged 115 dollars, I was charged 175 dollars. I called to cancel my order and you guys confirmed that you have cancelled my order and said that I would be receiving a refund within 5-7 business days. I did not receive a refund. Then I called you again weeks later regarding the same issue and you guys confirmed that you will provide me with a refund. It has been months and still no refund. This is is the fourth time I am contacting you guys about this I already called via phone 3 times and you said you would give me the refund. This is fraud.

I don’t live in Mississauga not visit this Hot Topic location as a person coming from out of town. The two missing stars has nothing to do with this location, but that is the poor Hot Topic service the last time I visited at the Eaton Centre location. I will never shop at that location again but they have more newer selections since the Toronto locations gets the better stuff than smaller cities who have Hot Topic. Mississauga Hot Topic has a better representation and service. I was at the Eaton Centre Hot Topic. Girl with the long red hair is annoying. Making dance moves in front of the store trying to impressed customers to lure into their store, but her job does not make employees to dance while other Hot Topic locations I gone to are just standing in the store not making dance moves. Just repeats the same move over and over while she should be helping customers more. I want the Pack It Up deal promotion. I add a few items, and she said “If you get the Buy 2 shirts, you don’t get the discount of 50%”. After I start cashing out, she makes the decision which one is the best price. For me, it does not matter if I pay more or less to conserve my spending. She makes me the shirts without the Stranger Things tote bag is better. She throws the bag and makes me pay for the shirts to get the 50% deal. I was upset, I want that bag and later bought that Stranger Things tote bag. She is not my decision maker for me, and it is coming out from my wallet. She forget to remove a security tag of my orange colour Dragon Ball Z t-shirt. She says “I am doing grape”; when I was saying “I am doing well”. I don’t know what happened to her, but she might have left her job. I recommend any Hot Topic locations beside the Eaton Centre. The Mississauga location is more spacious, cleaner, organized and better service. I understand the t-shirts are way overpriced just like Nike or Adidas clothes. Hot Cash is great, but it makes me keep spending more to redeem more. It is great for some Disney, Video-Games and Anime stuff. They need more Halo, Final Fantasy, Gundam and Kingdom Hearts. At least they have Death Note. Great Store!

Fairly big for a hot topic, certainly larger than Vaughan Mills (the only other HT I shop at). They have a good selection of items compared to Vaughan Mills, and sizes of shirts too. Their customer service is also great!

As much as I love Hottopic I do wish they brought back more of the early 2000's products and vibe. Overall more clothing options would make business do well.

Gota love the fokes at sq1 location...they are great always great yah in a cheerful and complimentary way and are always helpful and I love poping in just to look when I'm in the mall there's always something new a d fun there that and just to say hi to the staff ...love looking threw there patches and pins for my vest and for my brothers and sister as gifts

Its my favourite store, it has merch fron so many video games, tv shows and even manga lol

Severely annoying staff. We were in there for less than ten minutes and in that time we were asked if we were okay" FIVE TIMES! yes

Great selection of anime products, such as funkos, pins, apparel, and figures. They also have a diverse selection of clothing and jewellery. I’m a regular and this location and find the service to be good as well. Instagram page could do some work on posting updates though!

Totally overpriced and there’s so much stuff that it’s really hard to find what you’re looking for!!

Great staff and selection of items, could have given them 5 star but they didn't do anything regarding a customer cutting in line for convention pops
