Allstate Insurance: Markham Markville Agency

I do not recommend Allstate Insurance of Canada. Allstate claims adjusters provided 2 sub contractors for a kitchen door restoration, project to take 3 days. Now 2 years later still not complete. Silence from Allstate claims management and ombudsman

I recently bought a car and called Daniel at the Markham Markville location to see what Allstate had to offer. He was absolutely fantastic, he was quick, friendly and very informative on the phone and was able to get me the best price possible even though I do not have a long history with Allstate.I even asked if it was possible to have everything done in 2 hours so I could go to Service Ontario and register the car on my lunch break and he made it happen. Great service compared to any other company I had to deal with in the past and I will be a customer for a long time for sure.

Daniel Chan was a great help getting both my auto and condo insurance. He was super responsive and available almost anytime through WhatsApp for quick questions. I work 9-5 so it's not always convenient for me to visit his office and he's always able to accommodate me either in person or digitally/online. He worked hard to get me as much discounts as I was eligible for, and I'm happy with my rate

My advisor is Daniel for over 5 years and he has provided the best service and the fastest I've ever experienced and till this day it is unchanged. I was getting a new car and the dealership was delaying on providing me which bank I'll be financing with And ended up finding out on the same day that I should be picking up. Daniel was able to get everything done for me and I was able to pick up my car and less than an hour. If this isn't good and speedy service, then I don't know what is. Thanks a ton Daniel!

Be aware! They never updated your auto pay information if you call them 2 or 3 times to update it before expired day. Then we received letters shown we haven’t paid the insurance. We have to make another another call to them and request $50 penalty because we don’t wanna pay for their mistake. The same issue happened again and again. This company is so unprofessional!!

If I can give zero out of five, this insurance company definitely deserve it for sure.Insurance agents in Allstate do not have any sense of customer service. they do not response of your emails for any request.In last 30 years of working with different insurance companies the Allstate has the poorest customer service I have ever seen.BE AWARE, read the fine print before you sign. Although all other insurance companies do not have any penalty in home insurance, Allstate insurance company has over 25% penalty in home insurance and 40% on car insurance. Absolutely unacceptable. Ombudsman office does not do anything for their pathetic customer service either .THIS IS THE FIRST AND LAST TIME I DEAL WITH ALLSTATE CANADA INSURANCE.

I was looking for auto insurance when a friend recommended me to Daniel Chan. He was very professional, friendly, responsive, and extremely helpful. We got a good quote from him and he was able to finalize everything quickly, and was able to help us bring down the price. He was very knowledgeable about insurance and made the process so easy and quick for us. If you are looking to get insurance, definitely ask for Daniel Chan! He’s amazing!

I went in on a late Thursday afternoon to try to get insurance processed for my new car. I arrived at 4:45pm but with only 1 person able to do the work, there was not enough time as customer service is only available until 5pm, yet they are open until 8pm. There were 2 people ahead of me, so that was another factor.Why didn't they tell me about the hours when I initially asked a few days before?I wasted time and money rushing out of work and taking the 407 all the way from Vaughan only to have no one available to help me.I called head office and the agent there made it such a breeze.In the future if I need help, I'll just avoid this location and call head office instead. Based on many other reviews, my experience is typical.

Good luck if you have a claim , be prepared to stay waiting on the phone for an hour to speak to someone . absolutely no callbackIt's good only if you want a pink slip to prove you have insurance, if you have a claim you have to wait for months to get your car fixed
