Northstone

Northstone did a great job with our backyard remodel which included excavation, grading, installation of pavers and a fiberglass pool. They were very attentive to details in all steps and the outcome was excellent. We're really happy with how things turned out and would recommend using them again.

We had the front yard, driveway and back deck redone this summer by Northstone.They were a pleasure to work with. From my initial meeting, to work getting done , to finished job, everything ran smoothly and was done with the utmost professionalism. The quality of their work was outstanding. Edit: After the review below (initially 3 stars) I received a friendly phone call from their head office, inquiring about the job and my experience. I had made the mistake of never voicing my displeasure with anyone aside from my project manager, so the office was never aware. Upon reading my review, they expressed their surprise and were adamant that they make things right, and asked if they coud come see the finished product. That phone interaction alone was enough to make me change my mind, but the site visit sealed the deal. The company president was one of two who came, and from the minute we shook hands it was clear that they take a lot of pride in their work and won't allow a job to considered complete unless all parties are fully satisfied. We took a tour, and collectively agreed that my concerns were valid. They were very apologetic, and have scheduled a team to come rectify the issues. Turns out my project manager is no longer with them, so I guess I'm partially to blame since I never thought about calling the main office directly. Coming back full circle, the reason I initially chose to go with Northstone was due to the attention I was given and accessibility of their team. It just felt like they cared, while others didn't. Although I started to feel like I misread them as the project progressed, I didn't. The team is following through exactly as promised - and more. When the president takes a trip to address your concerns, you know you're dealing with a company that cares, both about their clients and their reputation. I highly recommend them.Original:Not sure if it’s industry or company specific, but our experience was over-promise/under-deliver. On a macro scale, everything is done as per the plans.The issue lies more in the details/finishing, and the end result of some areas being opposite of what was promised. The issues were raised along the way, and the answer was always that they would be fixed before the finished product is delivered. Once they were ready to deliver, and the issues questioned, the answers completely changed to “that’s not possible”.

Great design team along with the ability to execute exactly what was designed. They respected the Budget and Schedule and had my family swimming on the date that was promised from the beginning!

It has been a pleasure to work with Northstone on our driveway and backyard project. They have been exceptionally professional during all aspects of our project from the initial plans, to the permit process and execution of the work. Matthew has always been available to answer any questions or concerns and we were very pleased with all of the tradespeople they worked with. We are looking forward to completing the landscaping portion of the project in the spring!

I have used Northstone for 3 separate projects on my property over the course of the past 2 years. Project managers are always easily reachable, workers are kind, and the finished product is always impressive. Recommend.

I'm not the type to leave reviews online. But for Northstone, I made an exception. Briefly put, Northstone did a fantastic job!Our project had several curveballs thrown in. It could have turned into an unpleasant scenario. Despite all the challenges, Northstone delivered.Based on my personal experience; if you deal with them in an honest, fair and professional manner, Northstone will go above and beyond to make you happy. If, however, you do not honor your agreement and deal with them unprofessionally, then you will probably end up leaving negative reviews here.Northstone's team is very competent and they deserve all the success they have already enjoyed. I wish them continued success in the future.
