Halo Hair Salon

I received a free haircut coupon for Halo and had never been before. I had heard good things about it so I decided to try it out. I called inquiring about a haircut in the next 2 weeks (I’m a male with shoulder length hair). Mike asked for only my name and told me to come in that day at 1:45pm which I agreed.I get to the salon and Mike told me I need to tell them next time if my hair is longer than my shoulders so “it doesn’t make our stylists fall behind”. I felt as though he was blaming me for putting his stylists behind because he didn’t allot enough time for me, as he assumed I would have short hair, because I have a masculine voice and name.While Sami, my stylist, was doing an excellent job on my cut, another client walked in at 2:07pm. A stylist at the front desk walked over to Sami and asked how long she would be and Sami said 2:30pm (23 minutes). The other stylist then walked over to the client and said “She’s just finishing a blow dry, it’ll be 5 minutes”, and then went back to the front desk and began glaring at my partner who was waiting for me in the lobby.After Sami blow dried my hair, she still had to finish up the cut, thinning, and shave my neck. She finished at 2:35pm. The next client had to wait 28 minutes, not the 5 that she was told.I was lucky that Sami remained professional and did a great job on my haircut, despite being put under unnecessary pressure from Mike, who is the Owner.

My experience so far has been nothing but professional and extremely friendly. Mike, Lori and my girl Sam are great. Always feel welcome. Always have my Joico hairspray too. Nothing holds my hair like it lol. I will be back. Need a hair cut badly. See you all soon. Janina

I had the pleasure of having my hair done by Samantha today…she exceeded my expectations!!! She listened to what I wanted/needed and went above. With a busy lifestyle it’s definitely a bonus that they are open on Sundays! I will be returning to her again!!

From the time I booked the appointment with Mike to the time I walked out with gorgeous new hair, Halo made me feel super special, welcome, and pampered.Super professional and super classy.

Karli is so fantastic! I love my hair colour and how she cuts and styles it for me! Halo also has so many great products to choose from! Excellent experience always!

I have my favourites but All the stylists are great Owners are wonderful and very professional. Good prices on their products too!!

Great hair salon beautiful and clean the staff are wonderful and up to date on all hair styles and cuts. Jade who is my hairstylist is fantastic and fun I always leave with a smile. It's a well run organized salon . Thanks guys you do a great job.Elaine cushley

Awesome experience! Such a good environment and ofc I love my hairdresser. He always directs me to the best products for my hair and we always have awesome conversations! Plus, they serve alcohol now haha all the more reason to go enjoy getting your hair done!☺️
