I have a small uniform shirt from my job and it is still a bit big for me. I wanted to fit me more a little bit so that it won't look baggy. I wanted to look sharp for my job by having a uniform that fit me right so I decided to go look for alteration shops. Unfortunately, this was the only shop open during that time and I had to get it done that day because I will need to use it the next day.When I arrive at Tip Top, I told the guy what I wanted to get done with the shirt. He said it was too complicated for him so he suggested to come back later that day when the seamstress is in the shop. I went back around 1 pm and told the seamstress what I wanted to do. For cutting the length of the shirt, fitting the sides of the shirt and fitting the sleeves of the shirt costed me $38.00. Take note that they only take CASH and nothing else. I could've done it myself but it was for work so I wanted it to look professional. She was able to do it for same day, I give her that. So I thanked her and told her I will be coming back when I get my other shirt.When I went for the second shirt, to have it done as the first one, even if it was a bit pricey, the guy was there again and I told him I just need the lady to measure the shirt so I can leave it and pick it up another day. He said he will go tell her. They made me wait for 10 mins. I saw the lady who helped me and I even waved at her as she was doing some steam cleaning in the back. She saw me waved at her but she hid herself. I waited for anyone to come back. The guy finally came and said Just come back tomorrow afternoon" and immediately went to back right away before I can even say a word.It was so unprofessional on their part. All they needed to do was to put couple of pins as a guide. It took 2 mins last time. I was even already wearing the shirt as I knew the drill. For them to completely ignore me even after the fact that I saw the seamstress and waved at her. They did not look busy at all. And I am a paying customer

I brought in my beautiful camel coloured coat that I have worn SO much because it looks so good with pretty much everything. There were some dark mud splatter stains on it and it had balls of wool everywhere. It was a mess. When I picked it up my jaw hit the floor. It looked brand new again. If only I had done this ages ago. I didn't know!

I brought in a white dress that I spilled red wine all over during a wine tour in osoyoos. This amazing woman managed to get the stains out completely and it looks like a brand new dress. I love her and I use this place for my drycleaning and alterations all the time. I highly recommend them, she does amazing work.

Got a very expensive jacket dry cleaned and came out looking brand new, I also had repairs on 2 shirts done. The lady did a fantastic job and they are my go to for any form of clothing maintenence/cleaning

I had an excellent experience with their lively seamstress. I purchased a ballgown for my son’s wedding and needed it hemmed 4 inches. The hem was not a straight hem across, it was more complicated, plus there was a slip liner. The seamstress provided great advice on the length (longer in the back-to the floor) and shorter in the front just below the knee with a cross-over). I picked up my dress within a week and she only charged me $45. When I tried it on I was so very pleased. I would highly recommend as she is lovely, timely and cares about the quality of her work. I wish I knew her name. Will post photos of the dress after the wedding!

Sent in some uniform pieces for dry CLEANING. Well they weren’t cleaned. Filthy. Only ironed them. Asked for a repair for the pants as there was a small loop of thread hanging off. Said they could fix it. Charged me for it but never fixed it. My wife picked it all up so I didn’t have a chance to see it at the time until I got home. I would not waste a penny at this place as there are other good ones around. Not recommended.
