After waiting 8 months on a claim it was denied with a form letter. I would like to know how an agent in Mississauga can make a determination on road maintenance in Hamilton?? Just another way of getting rid of paperwork off your desk.

Sedgwick is used by Aviva Insurance to process auto insurance claims. My claim was made in November and approved. My car is being repaired now (January 23rd) and I qualify for a rental car, but the Sedgwick adjuster (I am on my 4th) has not provided the rental company with authorization. Calls and emails go unanswered……I am reluctant to proceed on my dime as I have no faith they will compensate me.Supplement: thanks to the ever helpful receptionist at Sedgwick I was put in contact with their Regional Manager for Florida. Merely adding his name to the email string obviously elevated my claim up the priority list and thereafter everything was processed smoothly.I must say that all the Sedgwick adjusters I spoke to were very pleasant to deal with - it just appeared they were overwhelmed by the volume of claims they were dealing with.

Useless and not pleasant to deal with at all. They will ignore you for months and only respond when it is convenient for them. Don't even bother calling. They will not answer and never return your call if you leave voicemail. If I could give them 0 stars I would.@U-Haul, please find another insurance provider to deal with.

If this company is suppost to be working to protect the consumer, worker or accident victim, they should look in the mirror because they are the pinnacle of what is wrong with companies now a days. Several emails go unanswered. Phone number disconnected . I had a bacardi product picked up by one of their employees. Sedgwick was in a big hurry to get the bottle. I see in hind sight it was all so they could bill Bacardi. Produce taken by employee with no contact info whatsoever. Now contacted Bacardi directly about the world's worst company Sedgwick.

Terrible customer service, they will delay your settlement. Non knowledgeable, fakeand rude adjusters (Jacque Dwyer). I had to get a legal representative to get this resolved.This is a third-party company that handles claims on behalf of Aviva. Dealing with them is a nightmare. Do yourself a favor and don't get insurance from Aviva or you will have to deal with these clowns.

This company needs to be put out of business! I was a broker for over 20 years and have NEVER seen such incompetence! My adjuster let my car sit for over 25 days. Have not had a single email or phonecall returned in over 4 weeks. My next step is Aviva Umbudsman and then FSCO

I was driving down from Toronto, ON to Charleston, SC when I was involved in a car accident in Charlotte, NC on February 18, 2023. I was rear-ended and hit the car in front of me. The police and the insurance companies ruled the accident to be the fault of the driver who rear-ended me. The police incident report number is 230218084HA and my insurance claim number is 35364819 with Aviva.My car is currently in Charlotte at CARSTAR Jerry Rhynes Collision Charlotte, the garage chosen by my insurer Aviva. According to written confirmation from the garage, my car has been fully repaired and ready for pickup since March 17, 2023, but they will not release my car to me until they have been paid by my insurance company. As of June 1, 2023, 76 days after the completed repair, the garage has not been paid.I was told by Aviva to rent a car in Charlotte at my own expense and keep the receipts. I was assigned to a claims adjuster at Sedgwick who sent my car to CARSTAR Jerry Rhynes Collision Charlotte to be repaired. The repairs estimate was approved on March 2, 2023, and I was told by the garage that it would take approximately one week for my car to be repaired. I stayed in the area and incurred out-of-pocket expenses for accommodations, car rentals and incidentals. I kept all the receipts with the expectation to be reimbursed.The final repair date got pushed back multiple times, so I had to fly home on March 15, 2023 for professional and personal obligations. In the meantime, I was not able to get in contact with my adjuster after March 2, 2023. I emailed her several times and left several voicemails.I was assigned to a new claims adjuster, but was not informed of this change or who my new adjuster was until another adjuster, who was not assigned to my case at Aviva Canada, intervened. I was not contacted by my new adjuster until May 3, 2023.In the meantime, I continued to rent a car at my own expense in Toronto. I sent receipts of all the expenses I had incurred thus far to my new adjuster on May 3, 2023, which at the time had amounted to $8,057.65 CAD. I have since incurred another month of car rental expenses. As of June 1, 2023, I have not been reimbursed a single dollar.Beyond the back pain I have suffered as a result of the accident, the stress of the situation has taken a toll on my personal and professional life.I do not believe that my insurer has fulfilled its service level agreement with me, and I have been in contact with a lawyer in North Carolina where the accident occurred.
