King Residence
This is an early and typical Edwardian-era residence expressive of the working-class community in the Sunnyside community. It is significant due its association with long-time residents, the King family, and their connection to early Black settlers in Alberta. It is further associated to siblings, Violet and Theodore King who were both racial equality pioneers and worked to dismantle Black discrimination in Calgary
