Everything is laid out and easy to find! Prices are a little high, even for certain sale items. I really enjoy the staff! There is a clerk there by the name of Gabe j believe, and he is absolutely hilarious and provides exceptional customer service! I usually look for him in the checkout aisle! I'm so glad Self Checkout hasn't completely take over! Thanks Gabe!

I have had more than one terrible experiences. Customer service needs to be improved. I have filed a couple of reports a couple of years ago. I can't be the only one speaking up, we have to realize that without the customers the employees would not have jobs. So in conclusion we need to ensure that Safeway managers provide their employees with customer service training.

The butcher on shift tonight made a few unnecessary comments when I purchased steaks, and made it seem like was bothering him because I needed 30 seconds to decide on what I wanted. Apparently wanting $60 worth of steaks warrants an exaggerated whistle, comments, and opinions from workers. Made me uncomfortable to the point where I won’t be returning to this location

Usually has whatever you could need in a normal household. Prices are fair however not the same as Superstores usually are.Self checkout is quick and painless, staff are friendly and helpful.

I live in the area. My only convenience store near my location is easily accessible for me.The only reason for 2 star is their prices are unreasonably high for some products sometimes, and I have noticed they do sell spoiled or smelly meat. (Beef and Chicken)I have had to return meat many times. And now I have stopped buying meat from them completely.

Are you guys phasing out human cashiers or something? I was in line tonight (on a very busy Easter Friday evening with only one human till open might I add) and the line up was well into one of the isles.I asked the cashier this same question and she said that staff want to work, but they’re not given any hours anymore. So I don’t really know what’s going on there...I said maybe they should get rid of the self checkouts because no one wants to use them and start staffing tills again and 2 other people in line agreed with me.I’ve been going to this Safeway for 10 years and it’s sad to see what’s come of it.

Probably one of my favorite grocery stores in the city. The store had an incredible range of grocery items. Last week, I only came for grapes but went home with a bunch of stuff I saw that would suite dinner. I also find that the produce has great quality. When it comes to paying, the self-checkout experience was an absolute breeze! Quick and hassle-free, allowing me to complete my purchase smoothly. If you're on the lookout for a grocery store that delivers on variety, good produce, and a delightful shopping experience, I recommend Safeway.

I have been there 3 times in the last week to get salad dressing. They are expired (May 10/23). This is also not the first time this has happened there! Look at the expiry date on all foods thereUPDATE :: went back today, May 30 and the expired dressings were still sitting on the shelf!!!

Safeway on River is a great place to get your grocery needs. They have a pharmacy and all the essentials you need at a great price. This location has excellent staff and a very clean store. It is located on a major bus stop and is accessible to the handicap.Thank you Safeway for making my day so much easier!
