An update.. took my car there for brake work...got it back, then got my brand new tires put on for the coming winter, as I was driving home in a Northern Ontario my drivers side rear brake came loose and broke, locking my rear tire up while going highway speeds, I nearly crashed into the ditch. I paid $300 to have the car towed to the dealer, I sent them pictures and what the mechanic said, they denied it, said it was Canadian tires fault because they were the last to work on it, and they wanted me to pay the towing costs of bringing it from northern Ontario to their shop, which is hilarious. I ended up suing them, and the day of court the owner offered to fix the car and take the storage fees away, but what bothers me the most, I was without my car for 3 months, and I was still paying insurance on it... so they aren’t as honest as everyone says. I understand that people make mistakes, but that’s why you take responsibility for it. I wasn’t totally sure on writing this review because I’ve been taking my cars there for years until this incident.So just be careful guys! Maybe this was just a one time mistake that they tried to blame on someone else, but you never know. Thankfully I moved from the area and don’t have to take my car there ever again.

Well I booked appointment for date to being my 72 barracuda to be brought there, so I did , had ordered tow truck that cost money , car was dropped off out front , where I meet owner an went over what needed to be done , was assured that the car would be inside , so that was all good to know , 2 weeks go by , I call to see how there making out , well I was told that they hadn’t looked at it yet , so I thought ok will wait , another week goes by I call again to check in on car , was told next week , so I let it go , thinking car was going in , so I call again another week later , was told don’t k it when it’s going in an was told if I wanted to pick it up I can , so let it be known the car was picked up with another tow fee , an added to a month’s insurance I payed , an the car was never moved from where it was dropped off from tow truck , was cover in dust an dirt , I own a Bussiness if I run things like that , I would be out off Bussiness, thanks for nothing JCA

1) vehicle in for front end bumper and alignment of panels for 860.00, they gave estimate for repair.. and ordered a used bumper.2) previously had window washer fluid tubing flushed bc they were frozen.. ? $110.00 give or take3) once bumper in they fixed itHOWEVER!!! they had checked the muffler for me.. and gave me an estimate of 720.00 bc 2 needed repair.I MADE IT CLEAR that perhaps by June I could save for the muffler, as my income is low and I am on Disability and the muffler wasn't that bad and needed to wait.4) They were paid for the front end work before it was started AND JC waited till 45 min before closing for the weekend to call me and tell me that I now owed them for a muffler system approx 860.00!! I told them why did you do that why.. I can't pay you.. I never told you to do that work!She talked to JC and they said they would cut it in half 441.00 bc they actually didnt replace the long pipe, but it had to be paid.. they lied over and over saying everyone heard me say yes to the muffler!!!.They were keeping my car!! I told them they could take it from my disability money at the end of the month but I had to have my car.. they said no.. I was very angry on the cell because I was in the middle of an epidural on my back as she tries to extort me for work not approved.. I am 63.. I am a Nurse, who was disabled in a 3 car accident, as a passenger. This is now my life. Did they see an older woman and figure why not get money, for work not signed for? from me? They would not wait till the end of the month. My neighbour was able to put this on charge, to get my car. I am taking legal action against this shop. I am not a mark! I will not be extorted from them bc they thought I am vulnerable and my friend could help. I have an appt Wed with a consumer lawyer and the court claim will be done by Fri.. I will have my day in court asking for what is owed and damages. They have a reputation for this and if I had known I would never have gone there.. They act so lovely and friendly but they are liars and thieves.. I will have my muffler checked underneath to see what work was actually done. I would prefer my old muffler put bacon and give me my money-back!!!!Disgraceful shakedown!! Kelly A. Farrell RPN.

We recently bought a used truck from a private sale in the area and the truck was being held at JC due to some work needing to be done for the safety. We are not from the area, so after researching reviews and comparing pricing in our area we were happy to have them do the $1,500 worth of work to the vehicle. Customer service and timing was excellent. Our issues started after the fact. We had a safety performed as well as the work that was required for said safety including controller arm, alignment, some brake work etc. We also had them add a brand new trailer hitch and 7 pin connector. All in all about a $2,000 bill. When we drove away, we stopped about 5 minutes away to fill up on gas and right away the gas started spitting back out of the tank. They had not done work on the gas tank but we just assumed this would be part of a safety check that the gas system would be in good working condition. A few days later we tried to hook up our trailer to tow on the brand new hitch and the connector for the lights did not work. We called back on both occasions and were told that no work had been done to the gas tank by them, fair enough. We were also told they had tested the connector with a trailer on site and it worked fine. Also, fair enough as trailer lights are finicky. We took the truck to a garage in our area and it was found that the wiring was severed and had been for some time, meaning it could never have been possible to have been checked or working. The gas tank issue was a 4 week rebuild having to reinstall the tank itself, extra parts and reworking lines etc. As mentioned, the gas tank had not been completed by JC but we were just somewhat surprised that these basic elements were not addressed or checked in the safety. At the end of the day, it cost us another $600.00 to get both elements in good working order. After contemplating our situation we decided to write a review just to share our experience. Perhaps we were just one of those one off unfortunate situations as we previously said, customer service and all other work performed was good. Just with being from far away and trusting them based on reviews etc we would have liked a little more transparency and help with the after service issues.

We got a bit of car trouble while camping close by, I look them up online, they fixed our brake issues and I was back camping in no time minutes".. My only deception is that they are to far from my home town to use them as my main service repair shop."
