Exit New Westminster Escape Room

I never leave reviews, but this experience was pretty bad as far as escape rooms go. We did the Jumanji room at 730pm tonight. My complaints are as follows:1. There was a 'lost' key from a previous party that we found and used to circumvent one of the puzzles.2. The final rooms final panel was open when we entered (not reset properly) we entered the final room and solved" the room in less than a minute. We had to have a staff member come in and reset the final room. While doing so she accidentally gave us the hint to opening the final panel anyways.3. The puzzle that actually opens the panel malfunctioned so that when we put an item over one of the magnetic surfaces we could hear some kind of microcontroller or other device. We heard "three" when ever we put one of the magnetized statues over it. This circumvented the actual puzzle.4. One of the puzzles involved putting three eggs in a basket and putting it on a weight scale. We put two eggs and some diamonds on the scale and the panel unlocked. This circumvented the actual puzzle.I don't know how many actual puzzles were in this room

I brought my whole family here and it was great! The staff were friendly and answered all my questions. We did the stranger things room and it was perfect for my daughters who love the show. Will be coming again!!

All the staff at this location are super friendly and helpful. The themes are fun. 10/10 recommend to a friend.

Completed the Upside Down escape room here. Staff wasn't welcoming or friendly for an escape room facility. Felt rushed to get in to the room and it felt like our presence was more of a hassle to the staff working there. Room puzzles were more so just finding items within the room with a TON of unnecessary red herrings. Room story and immersion felt rushed, left me feeling this is the end? / this is it?" when we were done. A puzzle item was also broken. As an individual that enjoys escape rooms and used to work at one

Friendly staff. Variety of different rooms and skill levels. My first time going to an escape room and I loved it. Would highly recommend the jumanji room and will come again to try more!

Excellent escape room!! I love the rooms and have tried all except the famous harry potter theme which I have booked for next week!! The staff working there are super friendly and professional. They explain the rules and can help you with whatever you need. The rooms are neat and so beautifully decorated, you really do feel like you’re in a different world. I always have so much fun coming here, the puzzles are challenging but not overwhelming. Always a blast and I love this location! Try out their Toy story room! It’s the only location that has it.

We went to this Exit location after having been to other Exit locations and had a less then stellar experience. Both reception staff were quite short with us - bordering on rude. There was some confusion around payment that could have been easily avoided if the staff hadn't been so dismissive. Unfortunately, I now have a sour taste in my mouth regarding Exit overall.

There is an inconsistency with the website’s information. We reserved a game which was rated the most difficult on the website but apparently it was the easiest.Also, the room was not properly set up. A door was mistakenly open.
