Dr. Emilie Salomons - Acupuncture + TCM for Reproductive and Mental Health

I am so grateful to have been in the care of Dr. Emilie Salomons over the last six years. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, Dr. Emilie is also warm, kind, caring and compassionate. She has helped me to regulate my cycle and manage stress, supported me through trying to conceive, maintaining a healthy pregnancy resulting in the birth of my daughter, and most recently, she has been an absolute rock for me through some heart breaking pregnancy losses. Dr. Emilie's expertise, treatment, support and companionship during the fertility journey are second to none. She's simply the best and I highly recommend her.

I went to see Emilie while I was recently pregnant with a breech baby. She was highly recommended by my midwives for turning breech babies. I had a few sessions and did the at home treatments and within 4 days, my baby had turned! He was pretty set in there and I had a doctor attempt a version which was unsuccessful, so I am grateful to Emilie for helping me get my baby turned (he is here now and I am having a much easier recovery!)

Dr. Emilie Salomons is absolutely amazing! She consulted with me before she did anything. It was my first time doing acupuncture mostly because I’m scared of needles, but she made me feel very relaxed and comfortable and talked me through it. I even managed to dosed off a little bit without even thinking about the fact I had needles in me. Not only does she possess an impeccable bedside manner, but she is also dedicated, highly knowledgeable and skilled as a practitioner of TCM. In fact, I enjoy seeing Emilie so much that I'm willing to drive from Vancouver to her new clinic in Port Moody just for a treatment. In other words, I highly recommend her!

Dr. Emilie has been my Chinese Medicine Doctor and Acupuncturist for over 10 years. She has been a blessing and has supported me with many health issues, general and reproductive. Most notably, years of fertility challenges, pregnancy losses, and then pregnancy, labour, the birth of my son and the postpartum phase. She has been a steady support, always attentive and caring, kind, skillful, authentic and professional. I recently moved to another province, so miss her acupuncture treatments. However, I have been struggling with perimenopause, with constant heavy bleeding for 2 months. Emilie prescribed me a herbal formula remotely and my uterine bleeding has stopped!
