Once upon a time the good folks at Banfield came to my rescue. My husband was deployed overseas and we had water coming down our mast pouring water over our power panel. They came quickly, fixed the problem promptly and the price was reasonable. Thank You!

I was never one for Christmas lights, but i wanted to have some this year. Got them up but after a rain my plug died. I called Banfield Electric as they are in my local area, they came the next day only 4 days before Christmas!!! Now that's service!

After we bought our home, we were referred to Banfield Electric by our real estate agent to remove some old knob and tube wiring in the house which was found by our home inspector. After they did the work, Banfield told us that all the knob and tube had been removed.Flash forward a few years, and we're selling our house, and the buyer's home inspector finds that there is still tons of knob and tube wiring throughout the house. Needless to say I was furious, as Banfield had said it was removed, and had paid them a fair amount to do so. As a result of the home inspector's findings, the buyer walked away and we lost the sale.If you aren't familiar with knob and tube, it's an old style of wiring that insurance companies require you to remove because it's been known to cause electrical fires. So, Banfield was not only lazy, incompetent, AND made me lose a home-buyer, they also potentially endangered myself and my family by leaving the old wiring.I then called another electrician, who found and removed the remainder of the knob and tube, and - lucky for us - also inspected Banfield's work. Turns out Banfield's crew had put in new wiring, but LEFT all the old knob and tube in the light fixtures, and tucked it down inside to hide it.In the words of the second electrician, I'm feeling a Holmes On Homes Moment here. I don't know why those guys did that

We wanted to update our power panel to a 200 amps. Mr Banfield came to our house and after doing his walk around, he advised us that it would be a waste of money. By just installing a larger 48 breaker panel to replace our 24 fuse system, we would be fine. The workers were first rate. Polite and very clean. The work was done quick and efficiently. We would strongly recommend Banfield Electric to anyone.
