We love the St Thomas Public Library. We are always greeted when we arrive and staff are always very approachable and helpful. My daughter enjoys the large selection in the children's area and we appreciate all of the activities and events offered.

BIG EDIT: My sister no longer feels safe bringing my nephews to the library because of the ramped and obvious drug use happening there.It is a sad, sad day when you no longer feel safe bringing kids to THE LIBRARY in your city.Do better St.Thomas.-Wonderful library, surprisingly great selection of not only books, but also other services offered, especially for a city this size. Also the staff are all super friendly and helpful.

It is a decent library with a fair selection. However, I have come here to study in the past and it was impossible. Staff are so rowdy and loud. They just talk at normal volume or above. Once, I staff member sat at her computer playing music videos on YouTube and tapping and singing along. She also made several phone calls at full volume.This defies the whole purpose of a library, in my opinion.

Incredibly nosiey, a few staff are absolutely terrible and said really hateful things about me becuase of my disability.Avoid at all costs.

Good variety of material, different mediums, friendly staff. The E-book library could be better. Also, some TV series need to be completedETA: Introduction of the CloudLibrary app is fantastic. Makes grabbing books on the fly super easy and convenient.

Staff are nice and know where things are located. They'll help you if you ask. My reason for low stars is because I go to libraries to get away from noise, and to help me focus/concentrate on assignments for school, but don't expect to do that here. People are far too loud, including staff. You'd have more luck finding a quiet area at a bar.
