I am an Employee at the facility on Allaire rd.Everyone is getting us confused with GFL Landfill , located on Lafleche rd that used to be Lafleche Environmental! For Waste bins and garbage that is Landfill. Allaire rd deals with contaminated soil only. The bad reviews are not meant for 17335 Allaire Rd.

I am rating this company a 0 for its operating practices. It is responsible for a stench for a 10 mile radius from the dumping site. A good idea from a local business man is now causing problems. People travelling on Hwy 417 can smell it everyday! People in surrounding towns, Moose Creek, St-Isidore, St-Albert, St-Rose, Crysler, Casselman, St-Andrews, Maxville even to Calypso water park in Limoges. Local people remember when Thurso paper mill use to have a similar stench. Thurso was labelled by that smell and never grew. Does this mean 1 company profits to the detriment of neighbouring towns? MPAC (municipal property assessment corporation) as begun to receive requests from homeowners for property reassessmentsThe company (GFL) stated last year that there was a problem with a fan / filter and that it would be fixed quickly. Now more than a year later it is worse. Municipalities are now contacting different ministries to find out what is going on. Potential home buyers are wondering what's that stench, friends visiting ask the same thing.Somebody please help them fix the problem it is far from being pleasant and they don't seem to care much. They have applied to expand, the ministry said that they would not get the approvals if the problem is not fixed. I understand that garbage need to go somewhere, but I also now understand well why people object to having dump sites even within a 10+ mile radius. Please fix the problem!

The girl that is at the weight scale has some big attitude and actually has a sign on the window at the scale house saying I'm not a robot" so beware. Besides that all the employees a friendly and helpful."
