Killarney Pool

Came for family swim. Had heard good things about pool from friends, specifically warmer water that is ozone treated, lazy river, and good slide. Also, the pool has a great wall of windows on the North side giving way to great views of the mountains in North Van. Two issues for me were the fact the slide was closed for most of the time I was at the pool despite the schedule saying it was open. They did open it periodically during the swim. As well, I did not appreciate the fact staff closed off areas of the pool to host swimming lessons during public swimming times.Facility is nice and clean and there were plenty of lockers and showers available in the non gendered change room. If you bring two locks, there are also small lockers available in the hallway to change rooms for valuables. This area is record by security cameras.

Excellent pool with fun water features for the kids and a water slide. Only downside is that there is always a long line up for the family change rooms. This is a major problem when you have kids.

'Pool has reached max capacity' sign is up. 20+ people have left yet they're not allowing more in. So.. they went over capacity? Quite a few of us just standing here.

There are 2 big pools. Love going during summer

Went for public swims. Does get very busy as the day progresses. The diving board is very favorite with the kids. Hot pool and slide as well.

*Giant red slides closed & life guard said has been for 1 yr & No plans to repair in near future. *Bring your own lock as no coin lockers. *No food available only drinks vending maching, after old cafe's closed. Dont have to book online & can stay as long as wish. Still well worthwhile visiting for young kids. My 5 yr old had a blast for 2 hrs endlessly in the lazy river, plus playing pool soccer with the nets in the shallow kids pool, plus fun fountains in it. Water temp was a perfect warm temp. We also enjoyed the quite hot hot tub, but didnt try steam room. 1m, 3m, 5m diving boards, but 5m mightve been closed.

Premises are clean.. swimming pool water is nice for swimming.. I enjoy the hot tub and the sauna.
