Dr. Gilmour was my OB for my second pregnancy. My first OB was not accepting new patients and thankfully Dr. Gilmour was able to take us on. Although this was not our original plan, I was very happy that we changed our OB to Dr. Gilmour.I had a successful VBAC with my second pregnancy and I really appreciate that Dr. Gilmour was open to VBAC, despite having a lot of risk factors. We had a lot of questions and he was very honest in all his answers instead of glossing over our concerns.He was very kind and super easy to talk to, and our appointments did not feel rushed. The wait times were not too bad either. I appreciated that he allowed a visitor to attend the appointments as well.If I get blessed with another baby, I would love to come back to Dr. Gilmour.

They recently changed the receptionist and she's very kind and helpful. She keeps keep the Dr organized by keeping up with the fax and notes promptly.

Best doctor of all time! So polite and really respectful soul we ever met! I will 100% recommend! The receptionist was not kind! She has attitude like don’t care policy! Never greeted in and out at all! I hope to see her change her behaviour and give some smile at least for last!

External turning!!Well, in our case is that my wife is 36.5 weeks and the baby's head is still UP. We still want it the normal delivery vs sea section. We were refer by midwives to Dr Gilmour, he was extremely knowledgeable, and he gave us the options, and risks for the external. At this time, he said our successful rate is 30-40%, so the same week we went to the hospital to do the external turning process, and after 3 tries the baby's head still facing up, so the nurse give us an option rather we should give it one more try, keep in mind, this is EXTREMELY painful process, and at this time, Dr Gilmour said the successful rate now drop to 10-20%, because the first 3 try didnt work. At the 4th try, he turn the opposite side, and the baby's head finally TURNED!!Dr Gilmour is very good at what he does for living, and he is a funny guy too. Trust his experience!Things to expect:-parking fees($4 each half hour) at hospital-mentally prepare/ Physically prepare for plan B, and C- EXTREMELY painful, even for me standing beside the external turning process i could feel my wife's pain(FYI husbands, get your arm out ready for your wife to SQUEEZE)-30 min check up once everything is done.

Dr. Gilmour was my OB and I'm so glad I chose him. He is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make sure your problems are treated well. I cannot think of any other OB during my journey. Highly recommended!
