Gorgeous hike from Red Deer parking lot, up Mt. Ararat, back to South Access parking lot. Got at bit lost at Mt Ararat, but eventually found The Way. About 15 km.

Heaven's Gate South Access & Parking
I had the pleasure of hiking the Arabella trail with a large group at the Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy's grand opening. Arabella is a challenging trail in parts, though the 6km length makes it a perfect Saturday afternoon outing. The climb to the lookout, where you can surveil the pristine wilderness below, is well worth the effort.
