Very disappointed with the service from the lady at the til; my family and I ordered blizzard - my husband and I asked for extra cheesecake as a topping (not well blended and the lady said, you're making our life difficult) was waiting to see if she was joking and she wasn't. How rude! Came today, July 3, at 3:00pm.

While five of us had ice cream Saturday evening at this Dairy Queen, we were appalled by how filthy the washrooms were at this restaurant. They had not been cleaned well for a long time... gross toilets, feminine product garbage, dirty walls and cubicle walls needed washing. It was appalling. Do better! Restaurant part seemed clean.

We like to visit Dairy Queen for a special treat on a relaxing day.The service is friendly and helpful. The staff is patient when young children are deciding what to order and need to ask questions.We love to order DQ cakes for summer birthdays!

Fast service, foods cooked to order, no heat lamp disasters.They even let you prepay for a cake, rather than pay at pick up!!The only problem is the junkies in the area due to the park being their hangout zone....

How can a Parksville DQ vary so much from the Victoria DQ's? The DQ's here are always so clean, the food always perfect and the staff very personable and friendly. Your store is sadly the complete opposite in every aspects. The overpriced burger was sub par at best, the service barely adequate and the facility's cleanliness including the bathroom has room for major improvement. I decided to eat outside instead. This was the first and definitely the last time I'll ever visit your restaurant.

The health unit needs to visit this filthy place. I had to askfor a wet cloth to wipe off my table. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Roof to floor deep clean needed. Spray the entire place with javex.

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience! Took my mother out for Mother’s Day and we chose Dairy Queen as it was my grandmothers (just passed away) favourite. We ordered food and my grandmother’s favourite drink, a Misty Freeze. We ordered a lemon lime and a blue raspberry to go with our order. When we received the drinks, we immediately returned them as they were not frozen, tasted of pure sugar and had a slight swirl of ice cream. Three employees were not helpful and eventually grabbed the senior member a staff who claimed to be the owner of the restaurant. He was very rude, grabbing the drinks harshly off the counter as he refused to remake them for us. We ordered a misty freeze but he claimed that we ordered a misty slush which does not come with ice cream. Either way, the drink was horribly sweet and not frozen. It was not what we ordered and he refused to make us what we asked for. He was rude and argumentative and handed me a refund without explanation or even an attempt to remake our drinks. I was embarrassed and it ruined our Mother’s Day when todays was hard enough. The first Mother’s Day without my grandmother. Absolutely ignorant and unprofessional staff and I would never go there again!

Had some DQ burgers. Not bad, you get more than other places, 3 patties in a burger, can barely put it in your mouth, but they're pretty ok. Youll get pretty full on that burger. On the island DQ is definitely better than McDonalds. But nothing stands close to Wendy's, best burgers on the island for sure. From a fast food place at least.

Stop for some fast food,that's just what I got. My order was fulfilled quickly and hot. Staff were professional and helpful. Four stars because of people in restaurant, they weren't the friendliness. Maybe I just went at a bad time ? Clean inside, never used the washroom so don't have information about it. Even a napkin and ketchup in the bag ! Didn't have to ask for any. No drive thru

I don’t like giving 1 star reviews.But the guy who claimed to be the “owner” of this location, was so insanely rude to my sister and I. We were just trying to get ice cream with our mom on Mother’s Day, and he went out his way to intentionally ruin our dayThey failed to take our order correctly, and would not take any responsibility or show any compassion for another human being.I never thought Dairy Queen would leave a bad taste in my mouth, but here we are. Don’t go here.
