Bamiyan continues to be a reliable, friendly, casual/family restaurant that serves great kebabs. They’re coasting by on their reputation somewhat by now (I remember when the naan used to be comically ginormous), but the meats are still well seasoned, fresh, and arguably healthy as far as eating out goes. I love the kofta and tandoori chicken, but you can’t really go wrong with most of their options. Their rice is very fragrant with a light, silky coat of oil for a heavier starch. Upgrade to kabuli (carrots and raisins) if you want a sweeter affair. The salad is underwhelming. I’m happy to see this chain continue to thrive even as they’ve branched out, keep up the good work!

The food was good. Ordered Chaplee kabab and shish tauwoq. Also, I ordered tandori chicken, not fully satisfied with the quantity. I would recommend adding more meat quantities. Also, upgrade the interior.

Came at 10.28pm and the girl at the cash said they cannot get orders as they are closed. When I showed her that its not even 10.30pm and your website shows 11pm closing time, then the girl said she could take the orders but only take home not dine in.I have been coming there for 5 years and was surprised to see their attitude. I think its time to stop dining in at Markham Bamiyam Kaboob now.

Qualitative, tasty and flavourful food.Dishes comes with nice hot and yogurt/mayo combinations and tasty warm bread. Rice was professionally cooked and seasoned to Afghan style.Prices are reasonable.Service was very pleasant. Provided good options and recommendations.

Great restaurant that offers take-out style but you can sit down too. Extremely tasty food and the servings are big! The Mantoo dish was delicious! The chicken, the beef and the salmon dishes are all rich in flavors. It's tucked in a corner in a big plaza. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

What a great deal for the delicious aromatic food and great portions. We enjoy dinning in. Loved that we ate and basked in the amazing meal at our pace. I loved the fact that we were not hurried out by staff. Got to truly enjoy the bread and the kabob meals. It was so much food that I had enough to pack for dinner. The chilli sauce was a perfect side kick to the rice and meat. The salad was fresh and crisp with the right amount of dressing. Overall, it was an appetizing meal and worth every penny!!

Today I visited with my family, but I am really sorry for the taste and quality and quantity of food. According to afghani cuisine taste the taste of Bamiyan Kabob restaurant is zero, waste of money, no taste no flavor, the chopan kabob is very hard not fully cooked and the rice is plain and tasteless. Very disappointing visit, not recommended.

Been here twice, great place! Lots of seating, lots of parking and lots of good food. Great service with everyone constantly smiling. We’ve had the Mantoo twice, which is a great value for money, large portions and tasty. Their tandoori and chaplee kebabs were great and so were all the sides of; rice, salad and their bread. Would recommend for good Afghan food.

This restaurant has fresh food! I usually call ahead to order the chicken breast dinner, and 15 minutes is done! I usually take out! But I’ve sat in there also to enjoy the meal! The portions are great! This place no need for advertising! Always so busy! I’m glad they still around!
