Dance With Emilie

The highlight of my week is dancing with Emilie. Her classes are full of energy, fun and she breaks down dance moves for every dancer, despite their abilities. I’ve tried every level of class and am always feeling challenged and engaged. She also attracts some pretty awesome dancers, so you feel welcomed and not intimidated to let loose. I cannot recommend her adult dance classes enough. It’s the perfect way to build your confidence and have an amazing time!

Take an All Levels class and help increase your own bodily/kinesthetic awareness.Ready to take on more advanced routines in different genres? Sign up for a Level 2 or 3 class. No matter what you sign up for, be prepared to have lots of fun and get a great workout!

Dance with Emilie is so much fun! So many fun classes to choose from. Emilie creates a positive space for all dancers no matter the dance level background for each dancer. I’ve learned so much since I’ve started in 2019 and continue to every season! She’s created an incredible dance community that I get to be a part of every week!

Emilie’s classes are amazing vibes and such a great workout too! She is not only an incredibly skilled dancer in so many styles, but also a fantastic teacher! Great place to make new friends too. I also love that all bodies and all abilities are celebrated. I have several years of dance experience, and have still improved SO much taking Emilie’s classes! 100% recommend!

Emilie has spent her whole life dancing and her passion and skill shine through in everything that she does! She's an excellent dance instructor. I've had so much fun taking her adult dance classes over the past 7 years! Emilie creates incredible choreographies; every class learns something challenging and different each session. With her years of experience, she is very sensitive to the needs of the class. She knows when we are struggling and need some extra time on a section, when to push for excellence, when to give praise and encouragement. She also knows when to laugh and make jokes! I really admire Emilie as she is SO hard working, dedicated, and organized. She has built an adult dance community in Ottawa. Going to these classes is like going out dancing with your friends. It feels amazing! You should give it a try! ;) I would recommend her classes to anyone!

Emilie’s classes are the highlight of my week! She is a talented choreographer with a knack for bringing out the best in her dancers. She is extremely versatile in her knowledge of styles. Emilie is a dedicated dance teacher and always comes through with an amazing, contagious energy. She not only is fabulous in her craft, but she will make anyone feel welcomed and help them find their inner spark. The reggaeton class i took with her exceeded all my expectations, and the workshops are fun, dynamic, and packed with exciting moves. I cannot wait to see more of her future projects! I strongly recommend to anyone to try out one of her classes!

It is difficult to convey just how much I love (and need) these dance classes! Emilie has all the qualities of an incredible teacher, but first and foremost she cares about her dancers. She wants us to feel comfortable and confident, but she also knows when to push us. The classes are a workout, with amazing music! She is so talented and consistently creates unique, challenging, and artistic choreographies, while breaking them down in a way that makes it all seem straightforward. She offers various levels of difficulty, and I've taken classes for a few years with a number of other dancers. I can see the growth in our abilities, performances, and most of all in our confidence. Everyone walks out of class feeling strong, empowered and supported! Emilie is kind, funny, and radiates positive energy that is contagious. I look forward to class every week and it especially helps give that little extra boost during winter. We are so lucky to have this teacher and dance community in Ottawa!
