Barkman Concrete Ltd.

A week ago I picked up a Super B load of Bricks for a customer in Thunder Bay Ontario. I arrived early for my loading appointment. I followed directions on signs upon entry and checked in over the phone. Loading went well and they were efficient. Being that I arrived early I was fortunate enough to be loaded early.

Awful. Bought three pallets from a local retailer. More than 25 percent were missing their corners, not chipped, missing their corners. I've attached a photo of sixteen from the top of the scrap pile. I've got another hundred that look just like these. My local retailer is trying to make things right, but product like this should never make it out of the factory. The good news (?) is that: I only had to use about 12 bad pavers as I did buy extras; I won't be doing my smaller follow-on project with extras of this subpar paver; and I won't have to deal with Barkman and the local retailer who sold me this garbage.I won't even get into how much I paid for these things.Too Long, Didn't Read: If someone sells or uses Barkman products: RUN.

There for pickup, well organised..

I would 5 star their products any day. I've even had an landscaper in Alberta tell me that their product was his best to install. I would just say that for the concrete industry that they are in, they don't have competitive wages.

I bought a circle firepit and after 2 years the bricks started falling apart. I contacted Barkman and they suggested that my fires are too hot?? And said I should put a steel/metal ring inside the bricks. They said they don’t sell them even though the product description on the website shows a ring inside the firepit. They just told the locations where I could buy replacement bricks. Wouldn’t recommend this product. 31/8/18 I was contacted and Barkman replaced the top 2 layers of my firepit. The steel ring is available in larger pits. I was able to cut an old washer tub to fit. still lost 4 inches of fire pit..

Barkman is an amazingly tidy and efficient place to pick up bricks from. They have great customer service, and are always ready to help you.

Really great products. They often have factory seconds you can buy.

We got a great deal on discontinued wall bricks for around half the price as anywhere else.

Very disorganized got sent all around town for this and that and ended up not having anything they said they would... Luckily an awesome guy by the name of Sheldon helped me out and apologized for everything
